I was just thinking about this the other day. I rarely see him mentioned when favorite actors are being talked about, so i was wondering, do you people rate him as an actor, and if not, why?

Turturro is good. I've seen him in cop/mob roles, as well as comedy roles.

I loved him in Barton Fink, and the few other of his roles that I've seen. I wonder if he got better by getting older, but so far, excellent impression
And how could I forget Jesus in the Big Lebowski ? He absolutely ruled ! The best scene of the Big Lebowski, along with Gutterballs

It isn't a fault of his acting though, it's just his personality that gets on my nerves sometimes.

Ditto. He was good in Barton Fink. He was great in O Brother Where Art Thou. He and John Mac were the the only redeeming qualities to that god awful movie Mr. Deeds. He's been good in basically everything I've seen him in, even in bad movies he's great.Originally posted by monolith94
