    Some great pranks

    Here's one we did. At the basement of the residence halls were these coin operated washing and drying machines. A bunch of EEs went in there one friday night, rewired a machine so that whenever somebody put money in there, it would make a loud burping noise. Lots of people were either confused or scared.

      I quite like that one

      This is the sad part about being a chemical engineer: we never learn to rewire anything... And most people don't appreciate pranks centered on sulphuric acid...

        There was a case - Nottingham I believe - where students kidnapped a large statue of a goose and held it to ransom.

        Eventually the local council paid out £20,000 towards a new student union bar.

        All I can say is, it must have been an expensive statue!
