  • If there's no WMD, Bush loses my vote.

I hate to be lied to.

I still have hope that the desert of Iraq will yield the goods, but that hope is diminished.

If Bush had no intel of WMD, as bad as Saddam was, if he was no threat to the US, then we should not be losing a soldier a day over there. Not that that's too great a price, a hundred soldiers a day, and I among them, for a right cause. Not one for no reason.

I got a feeling the WMD will rise several months before the election.

Anyways, these weapons just can't disappear. They were there, that is fact. But where the hell are they?

Whoa, hang on a minute Lancer.

Might be an idea to see who the Democratic contender is first?

I mean, could be even worse candidate - unlikely but possible.

You're a good man, Lancer. It's not bad to expect honesty on the job from anybody, least of all our president, especially when lives have been lost for this apparently fallacious evidence.

He didn't say he'd vote for anybody else, nor if he did that it would be the Democrat. There are other candidates.

Fallacious? Just wait. I will bet my life on it that something will be found. Not literally, but figuratively speaking.

Ah, an interesting observation. Since Bush declared an end to the fighting, we've had an American soldier die per day over there. Good thing the fighting is over, I'd hate to see what it would be like otherwise!

I call them as I see them, Fez. Your "bets" are pretty meaningless to me. Until they are found, I'm sure you'll agree that I must assume they do not exist. This isn't me hating Bush, it's just me observing the facts.

Cruddy, who cares who he is? Elect him and hamstring him with a repub congress.

Assuming always that WMD aren't found.

Fez, screw that. Don't you get it? There is no plant. Such stuff is the fluff behind conspiracy. Nixon is gone.

Boris, I got too much ahead of my life to make such a bet for real.

Well I am assuming they do because things just don't disappear in thin air.

the finishing touches are being applied to them as we speak (ie an Iraqi flag painted on), now give it 2 weeks shipping time from Area 52 to Iraq...

Soul Survivor, better show me the intel this time around.

                            If it's good, then go.

Don't mistake me here. The stuff could very well turn up. The search continues. However, it's surprising they don't havre it yet. That country was searched by satalite down to the grain of sand. It's...screwed up.

You are making the basic assumption that they existed in the first place.

This is flawed. I am making the assumption that they may or may not exist, because we don't really know. Think about it: did Powell ever actually show us weapons? No, he showed us "weapons sites" and "laboratories" and those wierd trucks.

If we make no assumptions, than it is up to the government to prove that, in fact, these weapons ever existed. Personally, I did not support the war because there was no good proof for this before the war, but to then go ahead and invade and not find any proof afterwards is a betrayal of the American people.
