Like those times when you figure out you're in business to make money, not to make some political statement out of choosing an obscure OS.
! I think they've never heard about the value of 1) using pristine sources (which tend to be less buggy than patched ones, especially if you write the patches yourself) and 2) disabling everything by default and letting the admins enable stuff as needed...
