This was in my local paper this morning, and it seems like a really good idea. If you're too much of a slacker to read a link, basically as many libertarians as they can get move to the same state so that they can have enough clout to really influence things on the state level.
How brilliant is that? They get what they want, the rest of us don't have to deal with them, and anyone else who wants the same sort of thing for their own agenda can find a different state and try it themselves. Best of all, it will provide a sort of living laboratory with which people can test political ideas - if all the libertarians move to Wyoming and Wyoming suddenly starts doing a lot better, maybe they have something after all (although of course no political scientist worth his salt will accept empirical studies at face value because that would be too easy, but it would still be interesting to see)
And have any Apolytoners signed up? I can think of a couple who could fit right in.
