Well, I was just curious. I found the link posted on a leftist-leaning site I ran across while perusing the Internet. I figured it was just the left's version of the right's black U.N. helicopters leading the way to the New World Order, but just thought I'd run it by my pals at 'Poly to be safe.

Gee, why didn't they rent a plane and take aerial photos?

And a concentration camp in a public park in Glendale, now that's hilarious. (for those who don't know, Glendale is a large suburb of Los Angeles)

This lunacy started with contingency plans in the '50s for all sorts of whacked out cold war scenarios, and there were some papers about the need to build camps to hold suspected commie sympathizers in case of an invasion by the Red HordesTM.

Over the years, these "camps" (mind you this was just one of a zillion fantasy "what should we do if..." ideas) were to hold aliens, Amerkin pay-tree-ots when the gummint came to take our gunz, true Aryans when the ZOG and the muds took over, blah blah blah.

At least the government is getting good use out of them. Best money the government never spent.

This is like quoting the Onion and calling it a fact.. don't be embarassed.. the Chinese press did it before.. thinking an article that the US was moving the capitol was true..

        Total bull****.

Nah, we'll just ship all the political prisoners to existing facilities in Cuba.

Hmm... Didn't read the article because even for a Eurocommie like me the idea of American death camps seems ridiculous.

But what about the camps where American-Japanese were detained during WW2? Guantamo Bay where people are held without being tried? (I hope "tried" is the correct English term)

You may not have camps in the German kind of way but you come very close to the original meaning of "Concentration Camps".

Edit: man, if only Americans realised how much work it is for us Eurocommies to reduce grammar and spelling mistakes to a minimum...
Within weeks they'll be re-opening the shipyards
And notifying the next of kin
            Once again...

There might of been holding areas in WWII, and now in Cuba.. but these are not death camps. That is utter nonsense.

Don't worry, it's just the translation of the dutch part
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
