  • Does anybody watch "The West Wing"?

It just came to mind when I read that other thread on series and I thought of a certain Thanksgiving episode... Really, that series just restored my faith in American series absolutely and completely! I watch comedy sitcoms like the Simpsons etc. as well, but this is the only serious (semi-serious ) series that I can't bear to miss. To the huge amount of Danes who will read this thread, they just started from episode one on DR2...

Or maybe this thread will be short-lived?

    You mean the "Left" Wing

Sorry, had to get that in there...

Bunnygrrl and I tape it and watch it later. It's on at the same time as Angel.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

I'm a big fan...but here in the UK they swtiched it from primetime Saturday evening (9pm) to gone 11pm on Monday after viewing figures fell at the beginning of the third series. Sure, the first three episodes of that series were weaker than root beer, but it picked up again.

I bet the viewing figures really picked up after that move.

I vicously roll my eyes ( ) at people in this country who automatically dislike any American TV other than Simpsons, ER and Friends ... and maybe a couple more ... like Frasier .... anyway, why no Seinfeld in a decent/regular time slot?! Why?!
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

You beat me to it... The Left Wing is a triumph of political correctness.

I can't stand it. I've tried to watch it a few times but get sick to my stomach after the first ten minutes or so.

I used to love that show. Especially the hot secretary and the lone republican they had working for the administration. Amy Hayes or something like that was her name.

Now if I could find naked pictures of them.

It was a great show in the beginning. But without Rob Lowe, I definately won't watch. I was never a big fan of Martin Sheen. The other actors on the show were top notch though.

I like it a lot. Although Martin Sheen may have been written out as well. Interesting choice for the Speaker of the House as stand in President. We will have to see.

We're so far behind you, I didn't even know he had left Oh well one of my fav shows, and for America it's leftist, but over here, it doesn't strike me as too far left-wing.

actually he just left this past season.

2 if the biggest reasons to watch.

As for the Guys Rob Lowe is great. And the chief of staff, deputy chief of staff are pretty good. The other speech writer guys- Robert Schiff is a pretty good actor. I liked him in the first season with the episode with the dead homeless guy who was a veteran.
