Would you get into business, or get a job in business that is perfectly legal, might be considered as morally wrong, but you are not hurting anyone in any way, and everyone is happy about it?

Key words, legal, morally questionable by some people, no hurting of anyone, everyone gaining and being happy about it.

It depends. I think prostitution, drugs, and gambling should be legal. Considering the question, I would have no problems running a marijuana business or a brothel. I don't think I would own a casino. Although gambling doesn't hurt others directly, it can easily destroy lives. Harder drugs can too, are very addictive, and dangerous; but marijuana, IMO, presents the same threat (if not less) than alcohol. It can be used responsibly, or it can be abused.

The prostitution thing isn't even a question. Brothels, if subject to public health regulations, can function and be safe while provided a good service to lonely or horny guys. Women can make good money and have fun. The stigmas associated with prositution, IMO, are present primarily because of it's criminalization.

Sava, ok.. while you think these should be legal, this actually is a legal business too, nothing shady about it, or almost legal, it is legal and big business in the world.

Most, if not all things that I think are morally wrong hurt somebody. It's not possible for me to do something I consider wrong yet hurts nobody, because hurting people is part of my definition of wrong.

Though it can be argued that if condition are good and no one is forced to do it, health regulations are taken cared of, prostitutes safety looked after and nto being ripped off money wise, it wouldn't be hurting. But this is not about prostitution, as it is not legal here. But close to pornstars sure.

As you put it (and assuming that you do not share the questions raised by some people), it is not a moral or ethical problem. You have just to ask yourself how long you will be motivated to do the job.

exactly. and that´s why I even say, laws prohibiting prostitution are immoral.

It's not about that really, if I'm motivated or not. I'm broke as hell ok? I really don't have money, and I can't support myself and I'm f*ing ashamed of that fact and angry too.

The only question for me is if my morals will let me do this. This is definitely not hurting anyone. It can be argued, that some people might get hurt emotionally, but it's not really direct, and if that's the case, then some people might get hurt that way from anything else too.

oedo, well it's not THAT immoral, and many people think there's nothing wrong with it. Maybe majority. But it can be argued, that it is immoral.

Ok, you want to hear something ridicolous. I'm basing this on religion, and I think christianity might not agree with this being moral, and I do give it weight because I try to think things that way too.

Personally, I think profiteering in the pharmaceutical and medical industries is more immoral than the sale of marijuana or prositution.
