British policy towards europe is as follows.

Give up a few concessions in return for reataining control over something else. Eventually there will be nothing left.
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Bods, I'd like to take issue with your sig - "1/.00000000000000000000000000000000000001" is not even close to infinity.
      Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 for our uses is not significantly different from it.

You can't do calcluls on the basis that something tends to 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

Bods you are a great example of why economists mathmatical predictions should be treated with caution

Infinity? Jeez, its not even close to being a googol.

See important words, "for our uses".

No, actually, it's not. 10^38 is practically 1 in comparison to infinity.

                  I can't believe we're arguing this.

I can't believe you are either. You might as well just admit you are wrong.

Bods, all I can add is

                      "Shattered, shattered
Love and hope and sex and dreams
Are still surviving on the street
Look at me -- I'm in tatters!
                      I'm a shattered
                      Shattered"
