Anyone up for a London Poly meet, somewhere between the 3rd and the 9th of August?
I'm up for it, but I have a horrible feeling I'll be on a yacht off the coast of Croatia.
edit: wait, that's later. woo!

I'm in London form the 8th June for 3 weeks. I'm up for a beer
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

I did the touristy thing. Saw the palace, and the big ferris wheel (didn't go on it of course)
The tower of london was definately worth a visit. Boris if you plan to visit the tower i would buy your tickets the day before you go to avoid the queue.
I bought mine just near the base of the big ferris wheel thingy the day before i went.
I'm very much interested; if a date for the meeting itself can be arranged any time soon, I can start looking for the right travel and accomodation arrangements, since I don't plan on going to London the entire week (unless I find a good deal somewhere o_O).

Heh that "big ferris wheel thingy" ( a.k.a The Millenium Wheel ) is apparently well worth going on when it's a clear day as you can see a damn long way OR when it's dark, as the lit up landscape below looks damn pretty.

Btw, it seems that I won't be able to tell you precisely when will we be able to meet in that week, So, I'll PM my cellphone number to one of you guys, and then, one of you guys will publish the meeting time.
