Crappy picture of the Mustang, doesn't do justice.

At least Corsair wasn't a choice. That would have made it more difficult by some.

The P-38 and P-51, while being about the best planes out there, weren't lookers.

It's technically a fighter/bomber, but the De Havilland Mosquito takes some beating for looks.

Well, I think the P-51 is very pretty.

Now had it been bombers, I'd be stuck between HE-111Z, Consolidated Lard Liberator and the Avro Lancaster

I like the lines of the Yak, but I have to give the nod to the Spitfire.

                      I prefer the Corsair, myself.

Corsairs and the later Jap fighters such as the George and the other one forget it's name... a late war fighter that they were forced to make out of wood.

The P-51 was always the enemies worst nightmare as the Germans saw it. The rest were just best for museums and to look at. The P-51 was the real flying stuff.

The Spitfire ain't that great compared to it.

Here is a better picture of the Mustang:

The P51 wasn't teh Geramans enemy from 1939-1942
Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Well it was used towards the end of the war.. in 44 when D-Day was occurring.

I've never seen a picture of the Yak and the other Russian planes. I'm curious as to what they look like. anyone got a link to pics of them?

I think an ugly ass plane was the Wildcat... stubby little thing.
