I don't believe he said that he should win, I believe he said, "You're the one to beat," as in, "Hey, Ruben, beat this guy." And, "That song could win you the competition," as in, "Damn! You might win!" The judges didn't really get behind Clay until they realized how much fan power he had. All they could say was, "Yeah, you've got a great voice, but you're so ugly."

How do you know that Clay doesn't appeal to these demographics as well. You're going by audience alone, which is a pretty slim percentage.

So was it the young guys that were making the high pitched screams that you hear when Clay was announced? If not, then what were the young guys you saw in the crowd saying? I never said that it was guys screaming for Clay. Man, you just pull stuff out of your ass. I'm sorry if you don't believe me, but girls can very easily make that deep sound. It doesn't have to be in pitch or anything.
