  • Did anyone here catch the Hitler in WW1 show on the History channel?

Kind of wondering if there is new info. The teaser for the show said Hitler might have been gay...

He was cruel and crazy, butt gay? False rap? Sounds queer to me. Certainly gays don't need one of histories worst monsters laid at their doorstep, or anywhere else.

It just isn't fair to gays, and I'm wondering if there was evidence presented? Anyone see the show?

Reading a biography of Hitler now... turns out his leader of the SA before he was elected to the Reichstag was a homosexual, but Hitler overlooked it because he was "useful"...

Ernst Rhoem? (sp) I thought he was aired out because of his views on the SA replacing the wehrmacht?

Nah, he was homosexual. Hitler needed the Wehrmacht to get support for his takeover in 1933. He guarenteed that the Wehrmacht would be allowed to defy the Treaty of Versailles and re-arm as much as possible.

Without the Wehrmacht, the SA would have been eliminated much earlier.

Yes, Hitler supported the wehrmacht. The histories that I've read said Ernst was killed because of his anti wehrmacht views. (He wanted his organization, the SA, to take the place of the wehrmacht) Since the SA was nothing but a huge goon squad, Hitler stuck w/ the pros, and Ernst was killed.

AH used the gay argument for the elimination of SA, at least. I seem to remember a Goebbels speech after that night where he spoke about the disgusting sight of SA leaders together in bed.
Gays can be gay-bashing right wing nutters, too. Self-loathing and self-denying might not be uncommon at all.

How can it not be so? Yet this bit of truth is the most un-pc statement I can recall seeing at Poly.

I might have seen it, at least something very similar. There they debated too that Hitler was gay but the end conclusion was that he was a-sexual and that he more or less got off doing his speeches. They were his idea of sex, well, too each his own I guess

                    Hitler was a gay?
It's complete bullsh!t. He was trying to creat a perfect society of uber humans. A society where will be no place for gays and for inferior humans. He persecuted gays no less then Jews, because in this pefect society he dreamed about there was no place for gays.
Saying that he was a gay himself is absolutelu illogical.

I've heard about this homosexual claim before. There seems to be some weak indications of this. We will probably never know for sure. However, as Hitler had a mental health that at times (at least) seems to have been all but good, at least a short period of homosexual involvements could have been possible.

Apparently, every famous person in the history of mankind was gay.
