  • Renting a tux?

How much would it usually cost?

I paid forty for my prom tux, but I shopped around for a bit, and it was also green. IIRC my friends' pink and turquise tuxes were forty-five and forty dollars, respectively.

Check the used clothing stores in your area... You can sometimes find nice tuxes for less than 10 bucks... and with a little tailoring, you will have something you can wear again.

Silver tuxes??? Blech. It's one thing to try to piss off your date, but it's another thing entirely to look swishy in the process.

You can find some as cheap as $50 if you shop around but the nicer the material the more $$$ it's going to take.

Darn tootin. If my date had worn a silver tux to the prom, then I'd have dumped her in a flash. Hell, any excuse would have sufficed.

Green, pink, and silver ones too?

                      ACK!

Sure, leisure suits look pretty similar to tuxes, and I've seen a coupla those in thrift stores.

                          Everyone here just wore suits.
