These are the reasons why the virus rage was ultimately a good thing. To make something good, you need to sacrifice something, like the whole world. Just imagine the possibilites having the whole world as your personal playground. Well, we can't make the whole world playground, but I guess we can limit some areas as 'neutral' for bombing and basically having fun, maybe Far East? Endless missions with absolutely no sense what so ever, but fun. We can afford it too. Everything goes, except hurting each other. You know our population is 5 million.. 2 million men, 3 million women.. so we survived, there are over 1 million free women anyway. There are more chicks then there are guys. Ok, so the movie is about this virus that rages throughout the world, killing everyone. It makes people literally rage, and they become creatures that kills and they're like monsters. So basically everyone dies.

At the end of the movie, after 28 days.. there are only 3 survivors left and then suddenly a fighter flies and they try to signal it.. who are these gyus, flying jets, the world is dead, right? They are FAF, the Finnish Air Force! They speak Finnish, it's little hard to recognize, because they speak aviation language but they do. The last words are 'Lähetätkö helikopterin apuun' translates to 'send a chopper to help?' (for the 3 UK survivors).
So what does this prove? We survived, our mighty military survived and we started to control Europe, and the world. I TOLD YOU SO!
