  • What really happend to Jessica Lynch?

According to the all so trustworthy Pentagon Jessica Lynch was tortured and possibly raped? by cruel subhuman muslin arabs. Along came the glorious and brave US soldier in a heroic rescue attempt and succeeded under heavy fire fighting to save her from the barbarians of Iraq. Jessica had gunshot injuries and some knife wounds. US media played the successful rescue from the hospital where she was hidden over and over again showing how brave the US soldiers had been. Etc etc…you all know the story…….

Know! The funny thing is that according to BBC there where no Iraqi soldiers around the hospital. They had left the area before the “black hawk down inspired” units came. The doctors in Nasiriyya continue to uphold that they gave Jessica the best possible medical attention – with her own nurse even. They also claim that she had no knife or gunshot wounds. When the Americans attacked they used blank bullets and screamed go go go all very much like a Hollywood action movie with Stallone or Jacky Chan says one of the doctors. He also claims that to people tried to save Jessica and take her over the Iraqi borders but they where attacked by coalitions forces and had to turn back. It will all be shown in a BBC documentary soon.
What is Jessica Lynch’s version of the story? Well, she has lost her memory according to the doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Centre in Washington. It is also very unlikely that she ever will. Convenient isn’t it?

We already had a discussion on this topic quite awhile ago. Why bring up old topics?

But it's sad the media is playing up the possible rape of this girl in such exploitive ways, for possibly political motivations by all across the spectrum.

I really feel sorry for her, but will she go on to celebrity success? Surely we shall hear her name for years?

The whole thing was a lie. The Iraqui doctors tried to arrange a handover of Pt Lynch but the US forces shot at the ambulance they used.

By the time her rescuers arrived there were no Iraqui troops around, they'd all skedaddled.

Don't talk about rape: it isn't even clear that she was actually shot. Until you see ocular proof of this don't assume anything. I saw a Pentagon official interviewed last night and he refused to answer questions about her injuries.

It's none of our business if she was raped or not.

And Agathon some of the Iraqis were using the ambulance to stage raids so hell yeah US troops are going to shoot at them.

                      1) Why are we bringing up old topics? We discussed this weeks ago.
                      2) Was it ever confirmed that the Iraqi doctors ever tried to hand her over? Just for giggles, let's use the same standard of proof Agathon uses.

She was a prisoner of war who was rescued for political purposes. Like WMD's, I think that irrefutable proof of gunshot/stab wounds on Ms. Lynch would be trumpted for the world to see.

I think it was Jessica Simpson who fell down a well back in '88. My bad.

Was it ever confirmed that things went the way CENTCOM said they did?

                              No.

They could easily confirm this by handing over the entire unedited tape of the raid. However, they won't and the most reasonable assumption is that they are lying.
