  • Help Frozzy get 1/10th of his total passing grade and 1/3rd of his History grade!

    Homework help is fun!

Anyway, I need help with a WWII project for History.

Basically, can you guys help me with some of the following

Differing views on the invasion of Poland (I'm finding these very hard to come by). I know all the "Br. and Fr. decl. war on Ger." stuff, but is there any other obscure international thing that happened in relation to Polish invasion?

Background on the outbreak of war in '39 (again, I know the bare facts like Rhineland invasion but more meat would help )

Details on the German invasion of Poland (really, this is just like how the Germans moved through Poland using blitzkreig, key milestones like taking Warsaw etc.)

Response of other nations Yet again, obscure Euro countries excl. Soviet, Br. and Fr. would help. Italian would help.

Mussolini's view on the outbreak of war and German foreign policy (of this I only know of the Pact of Steel)

Any help on the aforementioned subjects would be greatly welcomed, including maps and any pictures you can find

PS: Part of this project is to use as many sources as possible of which Poly is one, if you can help me that is

That's a community of WWII nutcases at another civ site. Ask them.

Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

I did read you post. There's a difference between "research" and "asking a bunch of people without any particular qualifications, just because it's easy." Unless, of course, you work for Fox News.

I was thinking more about the "community of WWII nutcases" Jaguar Warrior mentioned -- though footnoting them as such would probably be very amusing. And now I'll get off the soapbox. Good luck!

JSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources.

That might be a better than average source.

If it doesn't work, let me know. There are other sources, and I might be able to get stuff from my uni and email it to you.
