When it comes to business needs, however, you will find it vital.

Unless that's voicemail or some kind of intercontinental ballistic missile, I'm not interested in it.

              Voicemail? How very 90's....
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

Text messaging is for dorks who don't have voice mail. Why bother typing in a message on a tiny keypad when I can just say it in half the time?

I need to leave a rather detailed message, which is a real pain on a mobile phone. Voicemail really would be easiest.

I don't understand these backwards folks...you'd think it was the 1960s!

Now if these ludite Euros were really into the 21st century then they would have one voice mail box which they accessed via their mobile, home, or office phones like we Californians do.

Call forwarding is another nice feature we have. You call one number and the persons mobile, office, and home number ring so you don't have to bother tracking the call ditching bastard down.

We do some work with some Germans, they all have cell phones... Also, if there is to be a detailed conversation I usually just tell them to call me when they get back in the office, to which they ussually tell me at what time that would be.

Or, you could deliver the message the old fashion way; by mail

Heck, maybe airmail, strapped to a bomb, that is dropped offer its destination would be quicker.

But not at home. I really don't know why
