Spanish, there's the gender issues; but from coming to ACS, you can all deal with that.

Actually, English is very easy to learn if your mother language is other-European (since English has Latin, Germanic and Scandinavian roots). But it is a hell to master, and foreigners rarely speak English as well as natives.

I didn't learn Spanish but it looks quite easy to me. yet again, I can nearly understand Spanish when I read it without having learned it

A French speaker like yourself should be able to pick up Spanish with no difficulty.

You use "Usted" for your superiors, not equals. In essence, if you are dating someone who you would say "usted" to, you have an issue.

Growing up in Fresno I should of learned a lot more Spanish, but I do not most of the common phrase, like how to ask where the head is....



and how to get a beer, weeeed, food, directions, etc... I guess I should keep all the swear words down though.
