There's a *spoiler* thread for that knid of dirty talk!
Sorry... but I did think about that and I don't think that is a spoiler. I'll edit it out anyway. Where's this spoiler thread?
Jon Miller: MikeH speaks the truth
Jon Miller: MikeH is a shockingly revolting dolt and a masturbatory urine-reeking sideshow freak whose word is as valuable as an aging cow paddy. We've got both kinds

Hunting down that delightful piccie for Doctor Strange has made me think...this does remind me slightly of the late 70s Marvel craze for trying to get their characters onto TV. Some success with Spiderman and the Hulk led to the above travesty...and a shot at Captain America (which they then tried again on the big screen a decade+ later, but the less said about THAT the better).
Can anyone think of the others from Marvel that were tried in the 70s and 80s?
DC had Superman (movie), and Wonder Woman (TV)...and Swamp Thing (oh dear, oh dear, TV)...and then the Batman franchise on the big screen.
Believe me, if you haven't seen Doctor Strange or the 78/79 Captain America pilots...um...then don't, unless you are very drunk, in which case they might seem a bit amusing.
Ah...was Doc Savage Marvel?
Ooh...quick google search shows he was...and that's important because? That was another rubbish TV movie (or was it a "real" film?) I seem to remember...
...and YES...Doc Savage, the Man of Bronze (1975).
There is some talk about a new Superman movie, and Josh Hartnett was in the plans to be Superman... but apparently everything in is the limbo now, even Brett Ratner (who directed Red Dragon and Rush Hour 1 and 2) abandoned the project (or was "forced" to abandon it ). I remember that Nicholas Cage wanted to play Superman , and at that time people talked about Tim Burton being the director, but that was a long time ago
There is enough comic book stories to last for the next 200 years, depending how obscure they want to go.
