    Violin for Newbies...

    Does anyone know a good website/ some hints that will help me start teaching myself the violin?

    I would get lessons, but wheres the fun in going straight to a teacher, i wanna learn a bit myself


    So, anyone know any?

        You may be able to find books on it. But I mostly know piano myself.

                      Get a begginers book (you know those things that have those thin paper thingys in them), most muscians don't seem to be wanting to give those secrets away. A good beginners book could teach you a lot.

                      But this guy seems to have a good grip on the basics. His name is David, and I bet he's pretty good.
