Labor may die - but someone else will still have to fill in the gap between Meretz and Likud on security matters. And my impression from over here is that Shinui is too limited in its appeal on domestic matters to do that. So I think you folks are stuck with Labor in more or less its present form for quite a while.
How about Ramon? I cant see Barak re-emerging - I think Fuad is a better shot, at least hes never lost an election. But that only works if Sharon looks reasonable, i think. If labor is intent on opposing, mayber Ramon? He's at least a more seasoned pol than Mitzna was.
