You don't know how it feels in Israel, for a person like me. On socio-economics, there is probably a single party that I support, but Its' rethoric on the arab-Israeli conflict blames it all on Israel, and I find it fricking rediculous.

I am a political homeless person in Israel.
Az, youre a meretznick on socio-economics? I had you pegged as a shinuinik!

Labor may die - but someone else will still have to fill in the gap between Meretz and Likud on security matters. And my impression from over here is that Shinui is too limited in its appeal on domestic matters to do that. So I think you folks are stuck with Labor in more or less its present form for quite a while.

How about Ramon? I cant see Barak re-emerging - I think Fuad is a better shot, at least hes never lost an election. But that only works if Sharon looks reasonable, i think. If labor is intent on opposing, mayber Ramon? He's at least a more seasoned pol than Mitzna was.

The Labor should pack it in.

They've lost their appeal not only because their offerings have little demand but also because the party's name has been tarnished.

The youth no longer cares of them because the Labor offers them nothing and their elder voters are literally dying out.

Ramon has very limited appeal, inspite of the fact he is the cleverest and most realisitic of the lot. Fuad poses no threat to any right winger because he is not enough of a leftie whilst all other party leaders are either failiures or have been in the frame for too long to have a clean reputation.

In a nutshell: my cat can run against any Labor candidate and win.
