I was not too wild aboutt he war in Afghanistan, if because I didn't think in the long run it would achieve terribly much. Al qaeda certainly was hurt badly, but not terminally. As for the Taliban, they were also hurt badly, but again, not terminally.
I think there is still time to do more good in Afghanistan, to go beyond just "revenge", but sadly, I think the US will not pay the attention necessary over time.If you don't like reality, change it! me
