Did I mention they have nukes?

Ok, PDRK is probably the most oppressive but I still say PRC is the greatest threat to the world. Once they get advanced enough they're going to want to get onto the world stage and push out some of the more established powers just like Germany did beginning around 1900.

Oh, I don't know. Is this the same as the one that has millions of shootings a year, slaps funny labels on other countries, invades other countries willy-nilly, props up blood-thirsty dictators, profiles miniorities at home, ignores international laws, spies on everybody else, violates the Geneva Convention blatantly, got a president who snotted coke, evaded personal responsibilities, and stole an election, and has the biggest military budget in the world? Did I mention they have nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, and refused to ban landmines?

It's a tough choice between Iran and USA. On one hand, I dislike fundies. On the other, I think US presents a grave threat to worldwide democracy. Meh.

North Korea is among the worse hell-holes on the Earth, with only Liberia and Congo being worse (maybe also Sudan).

The difference between DPRK and this African ****holes is that the horrors, famines, indoctrination and suffering are actually engineered by a real totalitarian government. China's dictatorship is exceptionnaly mild when compared to their neighbour.
