Nm, then. It will probably be the same experience as the the original remix. I can always rewind, if I want.

Don't listen to him, get the Markevitch - LSO recording on Testament.

If you want mere histrionics the Minnesota Orch with Oue (Reference Recordings) is the most overwhelming recording of the Rite since it's close miked and in HDCD.

Yes I've heard of those bartezz tracks, they're abit light and slightly on the cheese side for me, theres a dumonde remix of them where the beat is given a real booster which makes them sound ok.

Believe me, as I indicated, I'm not an Ozawa fan by any means. But even the lesser conductors can pull off some surprising feats (well, except maybe Mehta, *puke*). The Chicago Symphony (I was mistaken, wasn't the BSO) recording is electric, and the sound quality is astoundingly good.

Another good one I've found is the Antal Dorati recording, although his tempos sometimes seem a little draggy.

                            Altitude - Altitude (Shokk remix)
Nu Nrg - Energizer (has a simple but effective beat)
Marc Dawn - Expander (Flutlicht remix) <- Brilliant
                            Gouryella - Walhalla
                            Dumonde - God music
Dj Kim - Jetlag (alphazone remix)
Yoji Biomehanika - Ding a ling (scott project remix) , if you like any sort of hard trance then you'll be worshipping yoji soon if you haven't started

I also have the later Dorati recording (with Detroit) which I like. Nothing compares to his LSO Firebird on Mercury Living Presence though - that is one of my Desert Island Discs.
