  • More evidence of western press doctoring photos during Iraq War

Just another example in a long line of the subtle deceptions that the conservative-dominated media will use to push people towards supporting illegal wars of aggression.

You know, "those people all look alike" is not a favorable argument by any means.

IIRC, it was Churchill who said the first victim of a war was always truth ? I don't see anything surprising in having been fed with lies during wartime. The belief our newssources are unbiased have always made a propagandist's delight.

However, despite this fake image, I still believe may people cheered the US troops when they first arrived in Baghdad. Probably not in throngs like this, but many people nontheless.

        I agree:

"They are cheering, we must punish them!!!!!"

Staying out of the pro-war vs anti-war arguement, the point is to show how "journalism" has been abused by this publisher. Why is such behaviour tolerated in journalism?

Again, focus not on the war, but how it's presented by this image.

Gee what a surprise, now let's wait for the FOX watching doomasses to call this a leftist conspiracy.

Sava... what did you achieve with that comment?

Think about it for a moment... all you did was insult people. Did you gain anything from it? Did you change any of these "FOX watching doomasses" minds about an issue? You achieved one thing... a little more spite between you and the "FOX watching doomasses".

btw, I don't watch TV news, so I'm not just defending myself.

Illegal Wars? Man who the hell are you? The Iraqi Information Minister? You are starting to sound like him. Get something original. Not something from the communist underground. Conservative dominated media? Wake up, the media has always been leftist.

I am sorry to bring this old style of me, but I have no choice. In the light of the insanity demonstrated by several people here I must expose them for their arrogance.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)
