I'm a 3rd shift QC technician for a company that makes castor oil-based products. It pays very well, the work is light and I have unlimited internet access (which is why I'm on all night). That I work for a company that makes great use of a very renewable resource is just a bonus.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I'm working a one year contract (they want two; I'll do one) in South Korea teaching English to Koreans of all ages.

I survive hand to mouth on about $US 2500 a month plus theoretical overtime because I save most of my money and send it home to my poor mother.

        When I go home:
-buy a 4-5 bedroom house for 22 000 down with my mother's help, rent out 4 bedrooms to students at $350 a month, $1600 p.a. taxes, roughly $500 mortgage payments.

-Go back to school for MA, then think about either:

        a) Law School, my long term plan

        b) another year overseas for more money, and then buy another property or possibly even a business as an income property, followed by lazily slouching around the world looking for my ideal woman in all the wrong places.

I'm 23 already, an old old man, so I gotta get started on this **** quick, I still want to see Nepal, India, Thailand, Japan, China, Mongolia, Coober Pedy Australia, Macchu Picchu, Teotihuacan, Rio de Janeiro, Las Vegas, Disney World, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Florence, Rome, Venice, Amalfi Coast, the Pyramids, Greece, and the HP Lovecraft Tour of New England.

I used to be a marijuana grower until some stupid ***** drove her mini-van into my basement and put me out of business. Soon I'll be trying to become a cook again, something I used to do many, many years ago.

I manage the State of Tennessee for a Fortune 500 Mortgage Company. I have a slew of loan officers and a processing staff that I manage. High pressure, but lots of fun. Been doing this kind of thing for 17 years now. Started in Consumer finance and worked my way up after college.

Thanks. Who knows, maybe I'll have better luck with my web site design skills there as well, I certainly got nowhere here with them. I don't even care if I make any money from it, I just don't want to feel like I wasted three years of my life going to school. It sucks having a student loan to pay off, for skills I haven't even been able to use.

Nope, I've always been a comp sci major. I took a few ethics classes as an undergrad, but that's it -- I didn't minor in philosophy or anything like that, particularly since most philosophy courses seemed to be full of ****ers.
