  • Your favourite Led Zeppelin album and song

Well mine is still the first album and "How Many More Times"

I'm still a big Zep fan although my tastes have changed a lot over the years.

    As for the others:

II - The Lemon Song (check out that bass line)

    III - Gallows Pole.

IV - When the Levee Breaks

Houses of the Holy - The Rain Song

Physical Graffiti - Boogie with Stu

Song Remains the Same - Whole Lotta Love

    Presence - Tea for One

In through the Out Door - I'm gonna Crawl

    Coda - Poor Tom

I like Your Time is Gonna Come

When the Levee Breaks is pretty good, sometimes it can drag if not in the right mood.

No Quarter, Dazed and Confused, they all sound good to me and I'm starting to forget.

Tea for one is easily the best song on Presence.

When the Levee Breaks is pretty good, sometimes it can drag if not in the right mood.
It drags every time I listen to it, but I agree that this song is a mood thing.
Sometimes I get a craving to turn that song on and play it loud for awhile.
Doesn't happen like that with other songs.
"I'm so happy I could go and drive a car crash!"
"What do you mean do I rape strippers too? Is that an insult?"

Song... Hey Hey What Can I Do, having to pick.

"Physical Grafitti" is probably the best Led Zep album, with "III" as a close runner up. Best song is trickier. "Since I been loving you" is a favourite, but there is also "Whole lotta love", "When the levee breaks" "Kashmir", "Achilles last stand" and "Nobodys fault but mine" from the vastly underrated "Presence" LP and, of course, "Stairway to heaven"

As for best albums, I'll have to go with the unconventional choice of Led Zep I taking top billing (gotta love those blues ), barely beating [/i]Physical Graffitti[/i].

I don't really have a favorite song, but I'm in the mood for "That Girl I Love, She Got Long Black Wavy Hair" (off their BBC Sessions album, of course) right now.
