Anyone have a link (or other access) to the Reagan quote where he declared that bombers were in the air and the USSR would be nuked shortly?

It was a sound check for a broadcast IIRC.
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Oh, this is legit. Heard about it way back, when he was elected(?!).

Can't blame the man much. If I were the President, I'd crack stupid jokes like that.

The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency

I think of Bush more as a tyrant than a dictator.

I think of him as something more akin to Sooty.

(ps, sooty is a puppet, couldnt think of any famous puppets )
Learn to overcome the crass demands of flesh and bone, for they warp the matrix through which we perceive the world. Extend your awareness outward, beyond the self of body, to embrace the self of group and the self of humanity. The goals of the group and the greater race are transcendant, and to embrace them is to acheive enlightenment.

Yeah, but there are certain stupid jokes you can only crack when you're the President.

Bear in mind that he also said, "There ought to be limits to freedom," regarding political satire.

I apologize. I feel this urge to respond to trolls with escalation. But my remark was unfair. Go ahead. Say some more bad stuff about bush...

This is an old quote. And yes, Dubya did say this. Next time, if you're going to bash Bush, at least find something current.
