I wouldn't call her action an act of infidelity. There is no disloyalty to the one she loves as her actions were not selfish but rather for the one she loved. Add to that she had no other viable options and I have a hard time holding her as immoral.

prove honesty. I could easily forgive if someone freely confesses to an act of infidelity...it's when it is found out through other means that the dishonesty is affirmed."Chegitz, still angry about the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991?

I see no reason to sour a relationship by raking up actions that are never going to be repeated. I think he would have been better off not knowing how she got back. He was happy until he found out - that reason alone is enough to see why she wouldn't want to risk spoiling it.
Its also why I think the friend should have kept their mouth shut. Unless there was a reason (such as her being potentially unfaithful) then there was absolutely no reason to tell what happened. What use is that information to the Man? It destroys his happiness, and for what? Nothing. One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

F - Telling her friend, good stuff
M - Nothing wrong with being pissed
L - Wanted to be with her man, but gave up her body and wasn't fully honest
B - Jacked up his prices (if he didn't, he'd be #1)
S - Took advantage by screwing the lady“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

M ( really did nothing wrong-- perhaps should be second
L (had sex for money-- motives were good perhaps)
S (had sex for money for the reason of having sex for money and took advantage of situation)You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

The friend did nothing wrong - we have no reason to believe the motives were suspect. Just because they're opposite sexes doesn't mean she was trying to jump into his undies.
The girl did what she had to do to get to her lover, who apparently couldn't care less about getting to her. At least she showed some inititative

L - had no choice (in the story) other than go along with S, or not ever see M. Worst thing she did was misjudging M as being worth the bother.
B - doubling his price shows he's a greedy bastard, but he's only indirectly responsible at most for anything else. Doubling the price is not irrelevant because she's broke, it aggravates the situation, by presenting her with an even greater barrier to getting across. Perhaps at the normal fare, she would have had another alternative.
M - regardless of what F told her, talking to L would have established she didn't do it for kicks, or to fund a shopping spree, she did it only to get across the river to be with M, after being gouged by B and exploited by S. Immature, self-absorbed, unforgiving asswipe. Should kill S, beat the **** out of B and sink his boat, and tell F to go **** himself like the cur dog he is.
F - Facts are absolute, truth is not. If F knew the entire situation, F should have had the good sense to shut the **** up. It wasn't infidelity, it was exploitation and coercion. If F did not know the entire situation, F might be alright in telling M, (though it's still not his business without knowing what was going on), but should have been very clear on what F knew and didn't know.
S - coercive little gob****e taking advantage of L's problem for his own game. Cut off his balls and feed them to him, then tie him up in the bottom of B's boat, so he'll get to drown after it sinks. When all else fails, blame brown people. | Hire a teen, while they still know it all. | Trump-Palin 2016.
