As requested. Our paratroopers had been able to secure perimeters in four major cities centering around airports. We are flying in our light infantry divisions as we speak now.

Our troops have arived, along with 500 tanks, all that we could ship over their in such short time period. Our two Carrier battle groups are now with in range of rebel postions to start bombing raids. More equipement is on its way as well. We hope to soon begin an joint offensive with all nations involved on the rebels.

With large amounts of foreign assistance and the now rallied Centralian army, the rebels have been swept from the big cities and most of the vital areas such as major transport links and mines. We are currently conducting mopping-up operations throughout the rest of the country.

The Guardinian Navy is moving two carrier battle groups within range of the Centralis coastline. They are currently flying patrol missions only, but could also provide air support to friendly troops on the ground if such support is requested. Also, an amphibious battle group with a regiment of marines on standby is expected to arrive in the area within the next 24 hours. They will take up stations within striking distance of the coast and await further orders.

In other news today, we are pleased to report that the ongoing efforts to patrol the coast and enforce the arms embargo are coming along nicely. A total of 232 vessels of various types and nationalities have been inspected by the Guardinian Navy and our allies. While most have been cleared and allowed to go about their business, we have found weapons on board 12 of them. These vessels have been taken into Guardinian custody for the time being.

Unfortunately, a small number of light and fast craft appear to have slipped through our screen in the early stages of the blockade. I am assured by Naval Command that this is no longer a serious problem, since our air patrols would detect any further would-be blockade runners.

On a related note, we regret to announce that an unidentified hydrofoil-type vessel was lost with all hands last night as it apparently tried to evade inspection. The vessel was overflown by Guardinian naval aircraft after repeatedly failing to respond to our radio calls. Our aircraft reported taking fire, and a nearby nuclear submarine from Ceroo was authorized to return said fire. Ceroo has so far not released any details on what type of weapon was fired, but the unidentified vessel disappeared from our screens, and sub-sequent searches have uncovered nothing but a small amount of burnt-out wreckage.

At the moment, there are two possible explanations to the disappearance: Either it was the weapon fired by Ceroo that totally obliterated the target, or the target self-destructed in order to evade capture and identification.

In any case, while we regret the loss of the unidentified vessel and will carry out an official investigation of the circumstances, we maintain nonetheless that the crew of this vessel appear to have brought this upon themselves.

Our efforts to control the shipping lanes into Centralis will continue for as long as they're needed.

Noosland air command centre planes are on standby to provide coordination and control functions as needs arise. Our border troops have not reported any attempts by Centralis rebels, even though border security has been stepped up after news broke out to assist in interdiction of smuggling activities.

The Centralis people voted for a libertarian/anarchist coalition and governmental control was limited democratically. Trying to take this control back forcibly is a disgrace to democracy.

Hm, what if they voted that everybody else should be killed? Should that be allowed?

Our government has had conflicting reports. At first we were told the vessel had sank (as a result of our torpedo attack), and that a salvage operation was underway- apparently there was some 'interesting' equipment on board. This information was related to us by the High-Admiral.
In our meeting 6 hours later, the Secratery of Defence reported that nothing had been salvaged and presented the same story as the Guardinian representatives.
The submarine in question is now 12 hours late in reporting to our naval base on East Ceroo (for refuelling and resupplying).
Any investigatorial help in this matter would be appreciated.

We have sreach and rescue helicopters on our aircraft carriers. We can send our investigators who look into millitary accendents to help in the investigation.

Also we have ships avaible for the naval blockade, and will be sending some of our gun boats and helicopters to help catch blockade runners.

Thanks to the assistance of our allies, this crisis is now effectively over. Martial law has been ended an dparlimanet is reconeving next month, with mos tof the rebel groups having surrendered in the face of certain defeat. The next task is to rebuild the economy after the massicve looting conducted by the rebels to finance their war machine. confiscation of assets belonging to rebels and sale of captured weapons will hopefully make up for this, at elast partially.

The Alecrast military would be very interested in purchasing those. We're currently scaling up our forces due to certain tipoffs we've recieved regarding the actions of certain nations in this region.

I see your point. I seem to have misjudged the situation. It seems it was mainly paramilitary splinter groups taking advantage of the anarchist (lack of) government. Maybe those groups even voted for the anarchists, or even intimidated innocent civilians to vote for them. That way these splinter groups could abuse the governmental void and take control.

GeneralTacticus, allow me to send a Mongolian engineer corps to help restore the infrastructure.

Maybe new elections are in order as well. Greater Mongolia would also be willing to send inspectors to monitor the elections.

We're glad we have found a buyer who we can trust, rather than just committing them to the vagaries of the world market. The weapons mainly consist of vairosu small arms, ranging from AK-47s and M16s to some laser weapons, and also include a variety of tanks, artillery, and a few aircraft. They're of varying quality and states of repair, but none of them are irreperable, and we are sure that you can find a use for most of them.

As we have now ended military rule, we will be holding new elections to all parliaments soon. If you wish, you may send officials to monitor the new elections, although we do not see much reason to; Centralian democracy is highly praised throughout most of the region.
