Governor of Centralis: We have defensive arms, that we are perfectly willing to supply to anyone, and the Uranium would be very useful. What weaponry are you interested in? We have the CND-1 Orbital Defense Matrix, EMP-112 anti-electronic device and a whole range of heavily armed tanks diplomatic rocket-proof cars.
The diplomatic vehicles and EMP devices would be most useful - and perhaps your arms industry would be willing to use some of our uranium to manufacture bullets tipped with depleted uranium? My scientists have assured me that in small quantities, it's health & environmental impacts would be neglegible, and they would be most useful for defense against armoured vehicles.

The people of Zoran wish to make a plea to all nations to be peaceful and not to begin an arms race that will prove to be destructive to all of our developing nations. Peace is the fastest way to prosperity

The Republic of Centralis has no wish to intiate an arms race or to threaten it's neighbours - merely to ensure it's own defense against potential enemies and to stimulate our economy.

The interests of Jedinica Vrijstaat and Akiria happen to clash again. We both have large exporting arms industries.

GeneralTacticus, wouldn't you want to reconsider your contract with Akiria and sign one with me instead? I can assure you the material coming out of Jedinican factories is of much better quality than that of the developing Akirian economy. Above that, unlike in Akiria there isn't any active civil rights movements in my state, so there would be no problem at all with producing uranium tipped bullets for you. Supply is guaranteed.

we have a plentitude of sci-fi and fantasy writers along with other types of fiction, not to mention reprints of 1st Ed. AD&D material, plus the best-selling multi-volume The 1,000,001 Ways to Prevent Your Execution: How to Avoid Annoying the King

we should be able to part with a great deal of cheese, as there's quite a surplus generated by political prisoners ...er.... hardworking members of the dairy industry

Hmmm... a tempting offer. what kind of arms would you be prepared to sell? I would be willing to transfer the ammo contract to you as well, providing that you're willing to supply the uranium.

Would the Kingdom of eternal Cold be willing to supply in cheese to our retail industry in exchange for uranium?

The People of The Commonwealth of Akiria do not wish an arms race, and, as staunch pacifists, will only supply defensive weapons.

Governor of Centralis: The EMP devices cost 100,000 Akirian Roses (=50,000 Gold Coins) and the diplomatic vehicles, of which I suggest our newest model, affectionatly known as The Big Fat Juggernaught, cost 50,000 Akirian Roses. Might I suggest this is equivalent to 5 tonnes of reactor grade uranium? We do not wish to create weapons, so the uranium must be suitable for our new nuclear power stations.

Governor of Zoran: That is a great idea. We will lower our price from 10,000 Roses per tonne, to 5,000 (cost price) in exchange for the publishing of our new book: The Wonders of Virtual War: how to let go of aggressive feelings, safely. Is this acceptable terms?

Besides of course more modern models of the Akirian weapons, we have recently designed improved models of our SAM-643 Viking Scribe missiles, Lion class light tanks, Sealurk nuclear submarines and B-54 Locust stealth bombers. And naturally we would be willing to supply the uranium for the ammo! Jedinica Vrijstaat happens to possess a large number of uranium mines itself.

Would you need to have the uranium enriched prior to export, or would you deal with that yourselves? We have several enrishment plants built to serve the mining industry, but would be willing to export more if the product was raw uranium ore rather than already refined. The choice is yours. Also, just how many of these weapon sstem would you be prepared to sell? Our uranium mines can provide enough to pay for almost anything.

Besides of course more modern models of the Akirian weapons, we have recently designed improved models of our SAM-643 Viking Scribe missiles, Lion class light tanks, Sealurk nuclear submarines and B-54 Locust stealth bombers. The problem arises, of course, as to what export commodity we might provide in exchange - we would be willing, for example, to enrich your uranium for you, if you like. In any case, we would be interested in aquiring some of these 'Locust' stealth bombers that you speak of, as well as some missiles to equip them with.

Do not fear for the future of our contract; Centralis is quite prepared to sign contracts with both Jedinica and Akiria. Moreover, Jedinica is willing to provide weapons not produced by Akiria, as well as being able to provide material for the ammo on it's own. Unless a compelling reason to the contrary is provided, I shall present both contracts to the Centralis Parliament for ratification.

I wanna trade. Something for something.
What commodities do you have available? We can supply you with uranium (raw or enriched), book publishing services, or a retail market for your own goods.

I must implore you, sir, do not simply break off diplomacy because you dislike their products! It is the use to which they are put which determines their good or evil, not their mere existence.
