No No no. It's not " I am spending 500 points on bananaland."
Like this, for example:
Code:Azan has 2,456,155 points. for that, I'll take: a) 120 regiments of Main Battle tanks, Ultra High-tech, Elite crew. That would be: 120x600x2.5x3= 540,000 ( in this example, 600 is the cost for an MBT regiment, 2.5 is the technology modifier, and 3 is the crew modifier.) b) 210 regiments of Mechanized Infantry, Medium technology, Elite crew That would be: 210x300x1.2x3=226800
Of course, this is an example.

Jeez, a nation's economic priorities have a very big effect on its numbers.
You should probably reduce this a bit, as this doesn't always apply IRL.Hello, you've reached Majestic-12 Headquarters.

Sorry guys, I've realy only just started to read this stuff. I think the idea of using the mil calculator for generating point is a good idea. Then spending the points to buy military is even better.
We would need some type of moderator to keep track of things but if we posted once a week our mil points, everyone could keep track of what is available.
Then if someone all of a sudden has an extra 50 tank regiments they can justify how they got them.
Once it gets up and going we could add things like defeated reqiments are reduced to 50% strength for a pre determined time. ect ect. Something along the lines of regaining strength at 2% per rt day. That would mean aprox 1 month to regain 100%.
Just a thought.
We would need to standardise what regiments, Divisions, Brigades are. I think most ppl here have their Divisions around 25k. That's fine but as for my Divisions they are 46k but only 16k infantry, 31k in total fighting troops, the rest are support of some kind or another.
You have to face reality you cannot have 25k troops in the field with out support.
Of course you can have infantry divisions in the field but not on their onw and not as a majority of ones forces.
I will post my division breakdown when I work out where to post it.Last edited by Boondi; June 13, 2004, 05:32.Attitude reflects Leadership!!!
