Putting up a picture of an arab family, then calling them a "terrorist family" borders on racism.~ If Tehben spits eggs at you, jump on them and throw them back. ~ Eventis ~ Eventis Dungeons & Dragons 6th Age Campaign: Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, Chapter 4: (Unspeakable) Horror on the Hill ~

no, it is just what it appears. some bedoiuns deciding they dont like capitalists... the fact they probalby sponsored and egged on by a large neighbouring country (al mastif !!) doesnt help of course....
The area is desert so the people would likely be dressed by that and due to long time in sun yes darker...
I didnt state all the natives were terrorists, many actually had a good job working for the multinational oil company that used to operate there, it just so happens that some didnt like it and used terror tactics to remove them ...GM of MAFIA #40 ,#41, #43, #45,#47,#49-#51,#53-#58,#61,#68,#70, #71

I'm just confused as to why you're suddenly reversing course yet again.
I posted many times that this OIL RUSH was nothing to do with my Government is was just a Multinational Oil Compnay setting up Commercial interests.
Their assets were attacked so rather tha nrisking the lives of their employees they decidied to leave, the msot sensible thing to do.
I didnt see any other nation jumping to save the Employees, some of those employees were citizens of your own nations.
So as i said above, the most snesible thing to do for unarmed Employees to do when threatened by 3 Bill Al Mastifs is to leave..
Any nation who stayed in such a situation would be foolsGM of MAFIA #40 ,#41, #43, #45,#47,#49-#51,#53-#58,#61,#68,#70, #71

What? I would waste all that lovely oil?
I'd only do that if those corporations didn't clear out!
Besides, Al Mastif only very rarely uses totally unknown 3rd-parties to do their dirty work.

Jonchastan's Central Committee questions Ceroo's motives in the annexation of Sanubia, and strongly urges that the democratic consent of the Sanubian people be sought. We therefore propose that a referendum, conducted under the auspices of the Apolyton Court, be held in the region at the earliest possible opportunity.
To allay any concerns that might be raised regarding Jonchastan's economic interests, the Jonchastani Petroleum Council has agreed to work closely with CP and other Cerooan oil companies to help reduce the operating costs of their off-shore drilling operations.
At this time, there has not been any reports of any 'natives' in the area by the companies or any civilians, and the small naval force that will protect the port has yet to arrive so there can be no claims as to Ceroo 'occupying' the land.
Representatives of CP have pointed out that it is 'highly unlikely' that any people are living in the desert, however should any activites seem to interfere with any previously undiscovered native polutaion then the matter is to be forwarded to the Viceroy.
We are happy for the court to investigate this matter as they see fit.
With regard to off-shore drilling, surely the JPC will agree that costs in this field are far too high to maintain a competitive footing, and that these land-based sites can produce far more oil at a much cheaper cost.

The 3 Largest Auldoninna Oil Companies; Auldonina Petroleum (AP) , Standard Oil Company of Auldonina (SOA) and Auldonian Oil Company (ALOC) have formed a temporary combined operation to seek further reserves of oil in the great south. The new oil Company is to be known as Auldonian Standard Oil Company(ASOC) . Their joint resources wil lbe combined to explore and refine the new oil discovered. Three new refienries are planned and a large harbour is to be developed.
The following map shows the development plans under construction. The total cost is over $20,000,000,000.
We would like to point out any potential refineries and harbour sites will have to be approved by the Viceroy.
We are happy that huge export tax revenues will now be made by having Auldoninnan companies in our territory. A copy of the Foreign Business Licence Application booklet has been forwarded to all three companies.

Hello!?
My name is Fyrdich Aktabi and this is my camel, ‘pepe’.
We are here to represent the native peoples of what we have long called the Khatatahakar Desert. We would like to protest this imperialistic interference in our native lands and threat to our way of life. Each morning myself and ‘pepe’ in accordance with our peoples traditions walk the eleven miles from the sand mounds amongst which we dwell to the local oasis to fetch water for the day. Now however the 104 freeway from the port to the oil fields nearby has been placed in the way of our morning path, forcing us to dodge the morning commute to get our water. There are times when the fumes of the petrol and the lack of water have caused me to hallucinate strange things. I once saw a field of one hundred flawless maidens that turned out to be part of a discarded tire and on three occasions ‘pepe’ has spoken to me on varied subjects.
We have hereby declared a holy war against the imperialist colonial business interests that desecrate our relatively worthless geography with their tools of repression they call freeways. We shall bring now several nice palm sized rocks to throw at commuters until such time as this exploitation ceases. You will find that I am not the lone voice of dissent in the lands of the endless sun, there are in fact ten maybe twelve of us. We will not stop until the imperialist cerooian puma-fanciers shudder at the thought of their morning drive to this den of adultery they call starbucks.
So ‘pepe’ has spoken and so shall it be.-Sir T
