  • I don't know, we don't seem to. I have lots of free time for the next two months or so, so I could give it a shot. I have Adobe Photoshop!

        • Thanks for the friendly "good luck" and "huzzah". I'll see what I can cook up by Monday. Over the next two months I will also look for a successor for when I have to go back to university, at which point I will be doing my honors project and probably will not be able to be Map Guy any more.

Editation: My first decree is that ceroomaster's rules still apply. You may make a map of your nation's internal geography and I will put its capital on the main map, along with other significant features which I have enough space to add. Nation owners are also entitled to name a body of water or other geographical feature adjacent to their nation.

            • All right. When you do, just tell me its name.

Many of the nations on the map no longer exist. I can either erase them all (time-consuming especially since it's my second day) or I can leave them as NPCs and placeholder names (might be useful so you can do a story in that territory, not have to worry about extensive paperwork getting permission, and, best of all, not have to refer to it as "Territory 161").

              • I say leave them as paceholders. If it's not too much extra work, it would be a good idea to remove any nation colours, though, so that we can tell them apart from the existing nations.

                • Okay then. Changing the country's color is easier than erasing it outright, since you're less likely to obliterate the border. I'm almost done and I'll bring the new map in this afternoon (my time, which is probably about three in the morning for everyone else).

                  • Map Update

It really is scary how many nations have either ceased to exist or belong to people who don't post any more - or never posted at all. On the flip side, that means that there is a very large amount of cool real estate available.

Edit: I for one am glad that joncha instructed me to leave the names on. One of the things holding back my writing career right now is that I have a complete block when it comes to thinking of names, both of people and of places. In any language.

                        a) you forgot to colour the Drunken Maraque to NCC Pavesia and
                        b) I still don't understand why extra territory has to be coloured with bars. OK, that's not your fault, but still.

                        • Great job, Mr. Prez.

Extra territory should be coloured differently because it can be claimed by new (primary) nations. That means two of Heresson's spots should be shaded out.

There are several nations and changes that have been missed, but that will take some digging in the thread to find.

                              Ah, well then it's okay.

                              • Under the old rules, if Iguana Fire understands correctly, a nation of Iguana Fire's size and status is able to 'claim' up to three other spots as portions for its nation.

Therefore, Iguana Fire would like to colonize the former Nation of Banelia- now in an upheval due to the death of its former ruler, and return "economic stability" to it, renaming the land--> Iguanatopia and colonizing it with retirees and elderly from all around the Iguana Nation.

In other moves, Iguana Fire also sends ships to the Land of the Arch Capitalist and takes that land in the wake of market collapse and renames it---> Capiltavia.

(That is, if as I understand it, those are dead nations...)
