Karakas maintains a small number of ground troops in the far eastern corner of what was once New Griffith to guard against infiltration by criminal gangs and terrorists. Unfortunately, there are none close enough to the locations indicated to investigate.

The Federal Intelligence Agency would like to meet with Auldoninnan intelligence officials and share information. If the FIA determines that there is a significant threat to Karakasian interests, Joint Command will consider deploying special forces troops and air power to deal with the situation.

All paperwork showing locations of the Terrorist camps has been forwarded t othe karakas intelligence agency along with signed confessions.

4 more Transport ships were sunk before the Destroyer headed south again. The captain of the patrol boat firmly regretted the action as he was a real passivist, only in ht enavy as that was what his family had always done.

He wrote a letter to his mum as he headed to bed and told her all the actions of the day.

It was the last thing he did as the hidden sub fired and sank the patrol boat dead on midnight.

SRC Argus, just outside FCL/Azani waters

"Captain Hyram, I'm reading two refugee transports heading for international waters, with an FCL destroyer on an intercept course. They'll be there before they leave FCL waters."

"Damn... how many refugees coudlt hsoe ships hold?"

"Several hundred, at the very least, Captain."

"All right, then... notify the Guardinian and Cerooan navies that there are refugee ships in the vicinity. Is there anything we can do to delay that destroyer?"

"Well, jamming them might work, but then they'd know something was going on. If they indentified us, we'd be in real trouble."

"Then we'd better make sure they don't. Send those messages, and start jamming."

With that, the Argus began shutting down active sensors, and a wave of static flooded the area on all frequencies known to be used by FCL radars and communications. Meanwhile, messages were bounced by satellite to the eladers of the Cerooan and Guardinian naval forces, notifying them of the refugees and the approaching destroyer.

Finally, shortly before the jamming could take effect, the Argus made an anonymous, all-frequencies broadcast toward the refugees, giving the location of the FCL destroyer and advising them to change course.

"When do we get our nutrient tablets?"

"When we've finished getting these crates off the ship for our comrades below to truck over to the warehouse as far as I know"

"The Chairmans really generous shipping all these crates over, must be packed with ... erm stuff ... with the amount of cranes we're needing to lift em"

*A man wearing an all black uniform walks past the opening and the two workers end their conversation abruptly.

"Chairman ! police units report drone activity in sector 12PGU, they've confirmed the sighting of Foreman Domai in the area" reported a man who looked every bit as identical as all the other men sitting around at monitors in the room

"Seal 12PGI, 13FGL and 13FNM now, have police blockades set up at 12OLR, 12UTY and 11HGG."

"Chairman, that leaves two tunnels open"

"One which leads to a childrens creche and the other to a junction with more tunnels correct?"

"Checking .... yes Chairman, nursery school Hinjui, currently 28 children, 2 teachers and 3 assisstants present"

"Good, then report to me when the Foreman enters the empty tunnel and it has been sealed"

"Foreman Domai sighted, heading east, patrol 17C in pursuit over"

"Copy that 17C, 52E will be linking up with you at the next junction over"

Sporadic gunfire lights up the darkness as the group of drones, 13 or 14 in number race down the hallways, turning sharply at each junction as police blockades are encountered.
"FOR FREEDOM" is heard being screamed.

"They're approaching it now Chairman, ETA 30 seconds, two police patrols still in pursuit, they've taken casualties but have reported 4 drones shot dead, one of them the hacker Jung Sao. Should i order them to break off now Chairman?"

"Order patrol 52E to break off"
Came the reply but nobody dared gasp, look at or even attempt to think of what the Chairman was about to do.

"ITS BLOCKED !! and the Hiveguard are right behind us, Foreman, what do we do ?!" came a voice from ahead

Foreman Domai, a middle aged man, rough looking but that was nothing new for anybody living in this place sighed. Nobody knew how he had came to break free from the nerve staples, if it was an immunity in his biology or if he was a spy that had somehow entered the tunnels of the Hive and had managed elude detection by the police. One thing everybody did know is that he had learnt to free others from the staples, at a risk however since most "freemen" died within 2 weeks due to a complete nervous shutdown but his motto had always been better free and dead then dead and in slavery (a reference to the drones complete lack of thought). He was also the man who had twice managed to broadcast signals to the outside world, the only communication made with others in circa 50years, both had been intercepted by Hive sensors but neither jammed in time.
The first message detailing the extent of the brutality forced upon workers in the early years who revolted against Chairman Lazerus and the second detailing the Hives arsenal of nuclear,biological and chemical weapons that were already in producation.

"............." The Foreman was lost for words

A speaker buzzed and the feed changed from the usual Hive celebratory songs to the voice that terrified every man and woman in the tunnel running for their lives.

"Atlast Foreman we have a chance to talk, you and your followers have been quite a menace over the years, i must applaud your efforts, however your time has now ended, i would ask you to renounce your beliefs of freedom but we both know you would refuse and that I can digitally replicate it anyways so i won't, instead i'm going to ask you to now look in the eyes of everybody around you who've now condemned to death"

With that vents around the room hissed and within moments the eyes of everybody in the tunnel become a screaming red, shrieks barely audible echoed around as choaks became gargles and gargles became silence.

The Battle Robot teleported itself to Jonchastan's secret orbital weapons platform and plugged itself into control console 7. It now had full control of the installation's fusion-powered Ignore Cannons. The robot homed in on the Chairman of the Hive's secret underground lair and fired several bursts. Satisfied with the results, it unplugged and teleported back to the surface.

OOC: I love sci-fi. I enjoyed playing SMAC. I don't think it fits here, though.

The New coalition of Havana and Capatilists formed the Government in Auldonina and begun planning the firs tfive year plan.

Their first decisions were all to do with the new tourism industry started on the Auldonina Coast where new luxury resorts were to be built.After spending many hours debating what colours the cultlery should be and deciding on a light blue that sort of matched the sky over Auldonina on a lovely sunny day, one lone hand from the back rose to ask a question

"Senator Peterson, you are recognised, but please make it quick as we all have othr duties to atend to" said the Chairman of the Senate.

Senator Peterson stood and looked round the room, he moved the microphone in front of him a little closer and then began to sweat, this was his first time here and he had pressing matters to discuss
"My fellow Senators, it is grreat we have finalised the important matters, but now we must address the mundane issue of the Azan Terrorist Item"

Mumblings broke out amongst the senators.

"We must vote whether to continue our actions or to remove al lforces from Azan"

Just then the newly elected President, former General John Howard entered the Senate.

He waved silence and advanced to the centre podium

"Senators, I bleeive you hav etoo many issues to bother with any trivial matters on international matters, I have decided that all foriegn matters should be dealt with through my office, leaving you senators to concentrate ion the important matters of Tourism and Business Growth.

Most senators smiled at this.

"Gentleman and ladies, please vote on passing all Forieng policy into my hands"

A slight rusus broke out, but after some order returned the vote was taken and all the powers for international matters was passed into the PResidents hands, he and only he now would decide what Auldonina would do internationaly.

Seantor PEterson shrugged and left the building with the other senators, he had hoped to end the war, but at least now he didnt hav eto worry about makig that decision

President John Howard from his vacation home in Jonchastan, sends the following message to all the World leaders.

Greetings my fellow leaders.

I am speaking to you today as the situation of the Azanian Terrorists worsens. Trains carrying medical supplies to the Southern region of Frankychan was attacked this morning and also five car bombs were exploded in Frankychan Capital. Further to this , 15 suspected terrorists were stopped at the Auldonina international airport, they were due to meet some local Bigotopians on our islands and they were hoping to set up a local branch of Azanian terrorism there. It appears that the Terrorists are uniting across the world and the loss of more innocent lives is to be expected.

I for one will not allow this to continue. The Azanian Terrorist bases must be closed. Thefinacial an military support for these people must be cut off.

The Auldoninna Government has now frozen the bank accounts of all suspected terrorist organisations and any organisation suspected of aiding them.

The Auldonina Military is contiuing its patrols of Azan citys and expects all resistance to end by months end.

However the Terrorist bases on the main land are still active. I hereby announce that as I speak. the Auldonina Airforce is begining Bombing Runs over all the Camps on the Mainland. Auldonina Agents are on the ground to direct the missions as accuratly as possible and we hope to minimise any collateral damage.

We had hoped other nations would deal with these terrorists but it appears once again that Audlonina is the only nation prepared to stand up to them

These terrosits have access to at least 4 submarines and 3 cruisers that we are aware of and has a large ground combat units in Azan and the foremr territories of Thudoa and Evil evil finland. Since the breakdown of these governments, terrorism has become the main stay in these nations.

We call on Guardina to send ground troops into Evil Evil Finalnd to restore order and prepare for a return to a Government by the people, not by terrorists.

If Guardina are not prepared to action this, after our bombing missions are complete, Audlonina will send in the 2nd and 4th Army Divisions to arrest the surviving terroists and liberate this aprt of the world.

Once again i state that Auldonina does not wish to remain in these locations and as soon as order is returned we shal lwithdraw.

Today is a good day for the Peace loving people of the world as we put an end to Terrorism

Sergeant Michaelsen was hard to miss in a crowd, being six-foot-three and blonde. But according to the government of Karakas, he had no name. And he was definitely not in eastern Thudoa watching Auldoninnan aircraft bomb a cluster of ramshackle houses.

The man who wasn't there didn't take out a Palm Pilot and begin typing a mail message to the Joint Chiefs in Ciudad de Karakas.

Whatever is here, the Auldoninnans are hitting it hard. They have been bombing for almost two hours. I think there are a lot of casualties.

Electrobinocular observations show that several of the houses have wires running from the door frames to the fuse boxes. There are other small things: all the sheds are run down, except for one. Before the bombing started, the locals ran about a dozen crates into it: heavy crates, with red labels on them.

But we cannot report anything for certain unless we get in there. And we cannot get in there until the Auldoninnan air strikes leave.

The man who wasn't there didn't send the message, and he did not then pick up his binoculars and resume studying the compound.

OOC: This might be justified if Lazerus had tried to use any SMAc-tech apart from the nerve-staples, which I can't see any problems with. After all, with a nation the size of his, he could easily develop such a technology if he put enough effort into it. Other than that, I can't see anything in his post that any other nation couldn't have.

A lone, sleek shape glided effortlessly through the night sky over former Azan territories, high tech sensors surveyed and monitored the landscape beneath it by scanning various regions on the electromagnetic spectrum. A tight beam communicated with a satellite orbiting in space via an encrypted channel. The information was relayed to other parts of the world.

Somewhere off the coast West of Guardinia, in international waters, a small group of naval officers on board of a vessel studied the map of the area on a large display device.

"Captain, Central Command indicated that the two Blue Cap groups are in place."

"Thank you Mr Khan. This stealth recon vehicle is working flawlessly don't you think?"

"Yes sir. The information we are receiving carries an enormous amount of details."

*Beep* a small box popped up on the captain's personal console.

"Gentleman, we have just received confirmation signals from our boys."

exactly ! so bah If rasputin is allowed to have injokes with the names then so can I, everything in that story has probably happened hundreds of times in real world dictatorships, the only inclusion of something vaguely smac'y is the name foreman domai. Besides it makes me look more evil

And it explains how ceroo i think it was ? might have slight knowledge of my missile capabilities considering that the nation has been in complete isolation underground for quite some time.
