The sub had just gone to surface to get contact from the satellite to get latest orders when a loud claxon sounded. It was the order for General Quarters. A voice came over the loud speaker.
"This is not a drill, report to your Stations immediatly, repeat this is no drill"

Men clambered from their beds and donned their gear and then ran in different directions, it was like watching an anthill after pouring water down it. Men were running everywhere.

The Sub began its emergency dive and the Commander Smiled, it was time!!

On the sonar panel the operator had reported incoming torpedoes, evasive action was required.

But it was all too late, the first explosion occured in the Aft section with more following soon after along the Hull.

The sub split apart and slowly sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

Roger leaned back in his hottub and sipped on his Pina Colada. He had just re read the note from the Cerooians, they wished to speak to him. He was pleased, he had finally made the world stage. His grandfather would be proud of him. He may be old and frail but he had finally achieved the success that his predecessors hadnt.

As he relaxed enjoying the warmth on his body, his aide passed him a package that had jsut arrived from the mail room.

As he slit the package open he was thinking of the trip down south to discuss world matters.

That was the last thought that he ever thought.

The bomb went off and killed the President and his closest members of his team.

The Auldoninnan's apparent occupation of the southern part of your island is of increasing concern to us. We fear that a nation which makes so secret of its fascist style occupying the area may not be good for the descendants of the Azani people, and that they may be subject to persecution because of their ethnicity.
[OOC: Azan was on the south part of the island previously, across from Guardinia, it makes sense that some natives may still be there]
We propose that Ceroo aid Frankychanland in expelling the occupying force and that any areas where the dominant ethnicity is Azani be placed under the protection of an multi-national peacekeeping force.

Field Marshall Outback arrived in Frankychan and saw the development of the new"city" and was pleased. The local populace seemed happy to have his men here. Much Bananas were being spent and a thriving econmy grew. With over 50,000 Auldonian Troops and another 75,000 Support Civilians the city they were building was huge. It included large military training grounds and also a large Work Camp for any Detractors. He smiled and saluted the local leaders and then returned to his vehicle for tranportation to Frankychan land Capital to visit the Government there.

In international waters off the coast of Frankychanland, the Guardinian Navy was conducting their own investigation of the mysterious sinking of the Auldoninnan submarine. The kind of curious thing was that, as far as the Guardinians were concerned, the sub was actually a "third party", since it had not fired upon anyone before taking fire itself. Hence, by Guardinia's reckonning, the sub was to be considered an innocent victim of an unprovoked attack. The fact that the sub had probably been stalking Guardinians and their allies at the time did not really matter as long as it had not actually attacked them or threatened to do so.

The Auldoninan "occupation" within the southern half of Frankychanland has been welcomed by the government. We are in need of new military training as well as humanitarian aid that the great nation of Auldonina is providing to us.

The displaced population of Azan is of some concern to us, but as stated before, the Auldoninan military is providing us with additonal manpower to help in their relocation. The former nation of Azan tyrannized it's people, and the government of Frankychanland has rescued them by helping to overthrow their regime.

As such, lands that were once held by the nation of Azan are now considered sovereign territory of Frankychanland. We therefore refuse Ceroo's offer of expelling Auldonina...the same nation which is helping us to maintain order in those lands.

Any nation that sets foot on Frankychanland soil, or conducts any form of operations held by Frankychanland, will be considered an aggressor nation and will be interpreted as an act of war.

Due to the recent capture of a foreign terrorist in Frankychanland, high-level military officials want the government to authorize torture to extract information about other terrorist activities.

This troubling incident has caused great unrest in the Frankychanland goverment.

General Violet Winters of Frankychanland's special forces division, has proposed we deal with foreign terrorists with "any means necessary".

General Frankychan had this to say,

With the escalating tensions in the international community, it is only right that we protect Frankychanland sovereignty. Therefore, any terrorist who conducts his 'business' in Frankychanland territory will be given no mercy.

[OOC: This issue is very interesting, considering all the stuff going on in Frankychanland. I got a couple of these issues talking about 'security' and 'terrorist acts' that have recently taken place here in my country. Weird]

With approval of the Great leader of Frankychan, the Auldonian Miltary are continuing their roundup of the Resistance to the natural rule. Numbers are not known at present but local sources say approx 75,000 Azanian Resisters have bene apprehended across the southern part of frankychan.

Auldonina head militay on hte islands west of Frankychan state these numbers are exagerated and more like only 5,000 arrests.

However reports are circulating that many ships have been sunk leaving the territorira lwaters and that the "Work" camps are growing hastily.

Last reports indicate that approx 100,000 auldonina soldiers now present on the islands. Sporadic gunfire has been heard but officals claim this ius all just Gerbil hunting.

Recent claims of the resistance to having access to a small flotilla of a navy and a small airforce are also denied by the auldonina officials, yet many independant news reporters state they have seen the Resitance with modern equipment.

Auldonina President Acting, Field Marshall Outback, deiend vehemntly that Auldonina troops were taking any losses , but did reiterate that any nation aiding and wabetting the terrorists of Azan would be deemed as guilty as the terrorists them selves.

All suspicion now of the assination attempt on the late PResident Roger Ramjet is now firmly pointing at Azanina Terrorists with access to large sumsof money and support from as yet unknown overseas nationalists.

Chancellor Biswijck, our Committee has grown increasingly alarmed by the pace and direction of events in Frankychanland, and fears being dragged into the conflict.

Jonchastan's militias, although well-equipped and highly motivated, are no match for Auldonina's legions, should they turn their attention to our strategically located, resource rich island nation (I need not remind you of the extensive oil deposits in the Jeongyeon Straight!).

While we share Basus' commitment to finding a peaceful solution to the Frankychanland Crisis, we are certain you would agree that such attempts may ultimately fail. As a result, we are considering declaring a position of "armed neutrality" in the coming conflict, and hope to gain your support. If Basus were to join Jonchastan in display of solidarity against imperialist war, it would surely inspire like-minded nations to do the same.

Our proposal for the creation for a "League of Armed Neutrality" is as follows:

1. A public declaration of neutrality in the current conflict.

2. A position of joint defence, should that neutrality be violated.

3. A coordinated effort to mediate a peaceful solution to the conflict.

4. A commitment to the creation and strengthening of intra-regional organisations

At this time, the Central Committee has mandated negotiations only in terms of the current conflict. However, a favourable outcome would certainly make Jonchastan's entry into a more permanent regional defence organistion possible.
