Earlier today, the newly formed parliment of Union of Sheepstan States was presented with a formal bill from the Alecrast Council on behalf of the corperations of Alecrast and Bulbagarden for the reconstruction work the firms of both nations did within their protectorates of North and South Sheepsta before they were handed over to the new regime. This bill, coming in at close to 1 trillion Alecrast En, includes both charges for the reconstruction of Sheepstan infrastructure, and charges for the lost of profits of Alecrast and Bulbagarden firms with assets in Sheepsta which were refused to be allowed to continue operation under the new administration, which has banned private enterprise. Some political commentators have noted that Bulbagarden itself doesn't allow private enterprise, however those defending the nation, considered a Benevolent Dictatorship by the UN, are quick to point out that private enterprise was never allowed in Bulbagarden, and that while it never allowed private firms in, they didn't forcibly prevent people from using already owned assets for profit making purposes either.

This bill is expected to further highten tensions between the two island nations. What will come of it, none can say, but when asked if he expected them to pay, the Alecrast monarch replied
"Of course not. Even if they were willing, it'd have to be paid in goods, simply because their economy is so weak thanks to the new regime and its policies on business. But we have to at least make a public stand about this issue against that Corrupt Dictatorship, for the good of our citizens and of our industry."
When we reminded him that the government of United Sheepsta openly proclaims itself democratic..
"If they have elections, they are as much shams as Bulbagardens' would be if it had them. The United Nations, which constantly reviews all nations in the world of NationStates, regards this United Sheepsta as a Corrupt Dictatorship, and until it regards it otherwise, Alecrast shall regard it as so."

occ: Arachic I have asked you to not try to cause arguments and I see nothing here but arguments.

The President of the Union of Sheepstan States has delcraed that no money shall be passed to either Alecrast or Bulbagarden for the costs involoved in what has since been found to be an illegal occupation by the courts. The Union's ambassadors have presented a similar bill to the governments of the other two countries, for the cost of reuniying the nation and the damage done by the occupation. They too a quick to point out that until the occupation of the before said nations that private enterpise was never allowed to oppress Sheepstan peoples.

[OOC] If you haven't noticed Sheep, arguements happen IRL a hell of a lot, especially between nations with such.....colourful....histories as our own. You're going to have to accept the fact one day that other nations in the region simply don't like the idea of a Corrupt Dictatorship on their doorstep, and that they will of course do whatever they can do inconvenience it and distableize its regime. I established the fact that Alecrast firms were displeased with having Private Enterprise made illegal quite some time ago, and I was waiting for you to do this so I could present this to a Unified Sheepstan government. The government of Alecrast is reported to be "displeased" with the latest pronouncement from the government of Sheepsta, which they say "Misquoted the decision of the World Court in an attempt to stain the names of Alecrast and Bulbagarden." [Ref: Official Verdict of the Court - There was no declaration that the establishment of North and South Sheepsta as Alecrast and Bulbagarden protectorates was either unlawful or an occupation. It was simply decided that there would be a new election.] They also stated "The constant distortions of history by the New Sheepstan regime are quite unforgiveable. The court itself recognised the massive financial outlay and aid that Alecrast and Bulbagarden made, and to claim that we damaged North or South Sheepsta with this "occupation" this regime likes to claim happened when the establishment of the protectorates was never anything such, is simply preposterous." Once again the Government of the USS reminds the government of Alecrast and Bulbagarden that their help was neither needed or warranted. To continue to claim as much will reveal the ture nature of the 'peaceful' invasion that led to the occupation of two- thirds of the nation and the removal of the Sheepstan government to their dominion in Jobedpet. President Stillman has announced that until Alecrast and Bulbagarden cease their diplomatic attacks on the sovereign nation of Unified Sheepsta, the Sheepstan ambassadors will be withdrawn, militraty alert levels are goin up and all Alecrastian and Bulbagarden citizens are being expelled from the nation.

This move has seen a rise in support for the Militraist Party and the Fascist Party in the local election campagining.

[OOC] There are no Sheepstan Ambassadors in either Alecrast nor Bulbagarden, and there haven't been ever since the New Sheepstan regime took over. The Ambassadors from North and South Sheepsta at the time defected. Therefore, to your comments about "withdrawing ambassadors", we are Firing Ignore Cannons!. Furthermore, Alecrast and Bulbagarden citizens had a travel ban imposed on travel to Sheepsta long ago that was only partially lifted for the duration of the protectorates to allow for people going over there to work on the various projects in the reconstruction. Though with everything, one has to wonder if they actually believe what they're saying or not. The standards of education in that nation aren't what they were under our administration, simply because they forbid private schools and therefore most of the education system, but unless the people are being denied broadcasts of stations which dissent the regime's opinion, they shouldn't be, if you'll excuse the term, total sheep."

So much for helping the development of another stable market in the nearby region. [OOC] As previously stated, there are no Sheepsta representatives in Alecrast or Bulbagarden to remove, therefore this statement, for the second time, is coming under fire from the IGNORE CANNON! In a statement made earlier today, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade - Her Ladyship the Countess of Marmo, Roslyn Pamplin, had this to say about the Sheepsta debt dispute.

"Neither Alecrast, nor our allies in Bulbagarden, will recognise the sovereignty of any Corrupt Dictatorship. If Sheepsta wants to be recognised as a legitimate soverign nation, they will start having free elections, not shams, and start repaying their debt."

Nearby, in the Republic of Karakas, several public commentators wrote op-ed pieces hailing New Sheepsta's transformation. When pressed for a comment, Foreign Secretary Siti Nurhaliza Bte. Abdul Rahman replied, "Doesn't affect us." She did not clarify this statement, but her office later issued a press release:

The government will in no way hinder individuals or companies who wish to do business in New Sheepsta or anywhere else. Such regulations would be against Karakas' commitments to free trade.

Alecrast: We do not care for your tone, and it is to be well advised that while youi may be dismissive of your neighbour, we remind you that THe United Sheepstan States is not a corrupt dictatorship. We are not a member of the United Nations and therefore do not allow United Nations personnel to move throughout our territory at will.

You also would be well advised that continued attacks on the sovereignty of Sheepsta that has been ordained by the courts and their vote, not your rigged attempts to justify an illegal operation, may have nuclear rammifications. Any attempt to infringe on Sheepsta's right to defend, exist and prosper will be construded as a possible act of war.

It is this way that your continued requests for compensation to the loss of capital caused by your nations illegal occupation of Sheepsta is viewed as hostile intentions against our people. It is assured that continue utterance of Sheepsta as a Corrupt Dictatorship when it is clearly not, just not in bed with the United Nations authorities will be construded as hostile intent. It is assured that continual denial of the legitimate government of the Sheepstan people and their soverignty over the entire island and the Dominion of Jobedpet will be constuded as hostile intent.

Finally we would like to point out that hostile intent is a precursor to war, a war that Sheepsta nor Alecrast or either of their alliances cannot win, but a war where all nations involved will be wiped off the map in the assured nuclear holocaust that would result.

We urge you to keep this consquence in mind in future dealings with Sheepsta. In fact majority of Sheepstans would like it even better if you just stayed away from our glourious nation.

INN HEADQUATERS MT.GRAVATT, NEW GRIFFITH

The first Sheepstan elections under the new unified constitution have been held, formally begining the nation known as the Unified Sheepstan States. The USS, is said to of immediatley renewed its commitement to the Treaty of Mt.Gravatt.

President Nikos Ginakis of the Green Party had this to say of the Alecrastian Crisis.

The Alecrastian Elective Monarch seems to becoming frail in his old age. His senile statements on how the USS is not a sovereign or independent nation bear no resemblance to the actual reality of things. His quip that he was unaware of Sheepsta even having a military shows how his living in the wasteland that is Alecrast has affected his health. Sheepsta shall prevail against this menace, for we are right. We just want Alecrast to leave us the hell alone!

No comment has been made by Alecrastian propoganda machine ABC as of yet. However dignataries from around the region have been known to speak of their dissent against Alecrastian bully tactics. Chancellor Michael Angolias of the Confederacy of New Giriffith.

Indeed the Alecrsatian Command must think carefully. It is obvious that the Alecrastian Monarch no longer remains in control of his realm, considering his nation being much closer to the United Nations than any Treaty of Mt.Gravatt member, classifies it as a Coporate Bordello. Indeed the entire nation is run by a few comapnies, and these companies sought to do the same to Sheepsta.

Nations like the Confederacy of New Girrifht will not stand for outraghes like this.

Akiria would like to state it's great pleasure at the way Sheepsta has been turned around. As a fellow nation with a ruling Green party, Akiria would also like to open a trading route between itself and its colonies, and the Mt. Gravatt nations. Akiria is further pleased by the election of Nikos Ginakis to President, and would like to invite him to the formal opening of the Risa National Park, one of the northern islands of Zetaris. President Dryad of Zetaris, and myself, would be honoured by his company.
