  • IRC meeting times

I'm too lazy to seek out the old meeting thread, so I'll just start a new one. Anyway, traditionally we've met sometime thursday evenings, but apparently today no one came. I am also concerned that the meeting has become a place where only the programmers are present, so I thought that it would be nice to try lure some other people (lurkers, this is your chance!) to join as well. So, in this thread anyone can suggest a time for meetings, or just let us know when you'll be available yourself. I know that icq is a lot more convenient for this sort of purpose, but at least I don't like using it... uhm... for personal reasons.

Anyway, every day except saturday after 21:00 GMT suits me. On sundays earlier times are possible as well. Any takers?

I will be available sunday evening/night. So we could have a meeting then. It would be great to attend a meeting again!

I am, as you might have guessed, home this weekend. But after monday I will not be home again untill July 1, when I return home for good. So the next month my posting will be sporadic and light.

    But what about sunday?

Hmm... now we have three... but on the other hand, last sunday chrispie was available and VetLegion dropped by also. So is it wishful thinking to have as many as 5 people attend?

Well, Sunday's are a good day for meetings for me, I'll be there. Maybe we should move the official meeting day to Sunday's? What does everyone think of that?

When should we have the meeting then? The reason I am totally available sunday is that I promised to have dinner with my family then . So I will propably have to go around 1930 and then I can be back an hour later perhabs.

But how about we start around 1700 GMT? Is this too early for some of you?

I'm pretty flexible tomorrow, so just tell me what you want.

Well, 17:00 GMT won't suit me, because i'm at work then. But I can be here from around 20:00 GMT I think...

Ehh, my mother just told me that we are going to eat dinner at my grandmother's tonight. So this means that between 1900 and around 2300 I will not be able to attend a meeting. If some of you can make it earlier I will be at Undernet untill about 1830, and as soon as I come back I will be there again. So does any of you have to go to bed early tonight? I don't, since today is a hollyday in Denmark.

I'm available all day and night, it's 3.40pm here. I'll be in the chatroom as much as I'm online.

It's 2330 now, and I'm at the chatroom. Alone, sadly.

I am sorry that I wasn't available untill now (although I had a nice chat with Chris and Leland this afternoon). I hope it was a good meeting.

I will be online again tomorrow if any of you are interested.

Otherwise I will see you all in a month, when I will do some work to make up for my lack thereof during the past 5.

It seems that sundays are a good day to meet, but we won't be giving up on thursdays either. Personally I don't mind this arrangement, but I really cannot commit into another 8 hour chat session, no matter how interesting it is.

I'm finally able to come to a meeting; right now I'm in the meeting room. Hopefully someone will come. The following days will not propably suit me.

List server, date, and time. Is that time Eastern US, GMT, or what?

Well... it's Thursday, closing in on 8 PM my time (Central US). I'm off for home now...

We always meet in #ggs on Undernet. And all the times we use are always in GMT (so +0 hours). We usualy meet at 20:00 GMT. Don't know for this Sunday. I might be possible to come...
