Yes, they are working on both. Brian Reynolds is doing CivIII for Hasbro and Sid Meier is doing Dinosaurs for EA.:-)

            Ahhh...good

Let them play with their little toys (dinos) as long as we get CivIII

Shouldn't it be the other way around? Sid Meier doing CivIII? Or both working together?

If you've read the diaries carefully, they haven't decided a name yet, the tentative name is Sid Meier's Dinosaurs, but that's not the official name

Brian Reynolds did civ2, and that's why he's doing civ3.

And Brian Reynolds designed SMAC, CivII, CivIII. A Hard working man.

I wouldn't call 1 game every 3 years hard working, especially considering what a step down SMAC was.

                            Step down??

SMAC was revolution itself and it opened door for further improvements in the genre (CTP). It is a step up, and a big one. And by "hardworking" I ment something else. After the original civ, what did sid meier do? I think brian reynolds should get more credits.

Didn't Sid work on Gettysburg and after that he started on his secret project which is Dinosaurs. But I agree that Brian Reynolds has been short changed... he designed civ2 and SMAC but both have Sid's name on it.

BTW I'd rather have 1 good quality game every three years from a company rather than 20 pieces of ****e every year. Look at Blizzard, they probably only average one game a year, but their games are good and well cooked.
