I was just thinking and I wondered whether it wouldn't be a great idea to have a "world map" so to say in which there is active plate tectonics at work. Afterall the age of Dinosaurs was a few hundred million years long and a lot changed in that time including the look of the planet.
Furthermore, this would have a profound effect on the climate, the flow of rivers, the shape of oceans and continents and so on.
If the game is to deal with evolution such factors would have to be taken into account.
Also the changing orbit of a planet around its sun would have to be paid attention to because that has quite an effect over time(I'm talking 100.000 to millions of years).
Not just the dinosaurs would evolve also the environment would change and new plants and animals would replace others.
So, what do you people think about this?
