Oh well I guess Sid's entitled to make a game I won't even think of getting. How many people do you really think want to play a strategy game with dinosaurs as the protagonist not I.

Than again a warcraft style game with Dinos might be all right.

I dont know what you're talking about Sophanthro, this game will rock. Think about how fun it will be to keep your pack/herd alive against the elements and other dinosours. I pray to god this is real time, too. Imagine what a multiplayer game would be like! Maybe they could make huge everquest style worlds where lots of packs try to survive.

Way back at the end of the 80's when sid had an idea for a game he would call civilization, there were probably countless people saying "Who would want to play a game where you guide people through history, go and make an asteroids clone, that's where the money is."

You are right.
I'm really happy that someone think about other sides of strategy. In civ,mostly you're fighting because you are human (as we know, human is always a killer without reason). Dinos (and other species from long, long time ago) had to fight for survival.
