    Maquiladora, I disagree with you on city placement. A city should always be placed on a river if at all possible. They will grow much faster then if you built them any where else (especially mountains) and since you will be able to build more units faster the defensive bonus is out weighted.

      I would agree, but not always on a river. For example i would always place my capital and my other main cities on a river if possible but if i was building a city in a dodgy location on the map, say on my border, id rather have it on a mountain.

      One extra unit built may outweigh the defensive bonus of a mountain but in MP people think more than twice before attacking your city on a mountain, especially when they have to wait outside for a turn and they have to consider having 6+ units bombaring at them. Rather than defending on a river with one extra unit in the same turn. Horses for courses i guess.

                  The easiest way is to use the 'http://' button on the post reply page (i.e. don't use the wuick reply box). Once you've done that a few times you'll figure out how it works and can do it yourself.

                    i used that but i dont get it
                    do u edit the words after using the http?
