        Sorry for the confusion:

        Starting around 5 GMT and finishing around 10 GMT.

        I still need to get some food afterwards (although I think I'll have to do it myself........)

        Saturday/Sunday I shall be free, so long nothing changes. A friend might come over from Scottland so, I might not be available...........

                      I'm Adrian, from Romania.
                      I already bought the Call to Power II. I reckon it's harder than the first one, even though the hardest level I tried and won was "King" (on Call to Power).
                      I wrote to you, because I've got an idea, concearning future Call to Powers or future Civilizations.
                      I didn't know where to put it !
                      Perhaps somebody else shared this idea with you already. But perhaps nobody has thought of it, not even a glimpse.
                      Let's say during the play, somewhere between 2300-2600 A.D., you cand introduce a parallel map, being the most competitive idea so far & ever. Let's say humanity/civilization/player has just sent a spaceship to explore, conquer and inhabit other planets (first, just ONE PLANET). Future game generations may include several maps at a time. Let's say that map is Mars' (or that Planet X's, they've discovered lately).
                      While confronting domination on Earth, the player can begin search for another planet, in order to colonize it.Then he can switch between two or more maps. Turns may remain the way they were.
                      Opponents may follow on discovering the same planet(s).

                          ok, hoping you all had broadband... but thats me being optimistic...dont worry ill host, got Blueyounder 1mg (twich speed of normal broadband or so the booklet says)


                          Also Adrian,

                          Think your idea will be hard to code into a current civ game, however i think this communty (Apolyton) i on the verge of getting its hands on the Source Code for Call to Power 2... Which willl mean anything is posible, i think... not much of a programmer... anywayz your idea i kind of like the the original Call to Power, with it having a space layer and a Land Layer... would be good to adapt this concept to planets and even having more than one layer like what you said.

                            Im on blueyonder too, thought about broadband a few times but couldnt be bothered to pay, id download even more crap than i do now! 1meg is the way to go though, i hear the upload speed on 2meg is the same as 1meg.

                              yea it says in the booklet 2&1mg have same upload speed of 256Kbs or something... does upload speed matter tho?

                                It does if your snagging huge amounts of files you wont really ever use or need It effects download speed yeah.
