Aztecs must reduce their pollution ASAP

Aztecs have no idea why the pollution is so high. I just switched to Fundementalism. The Celts have the same governmaent and I did not see their pollution jump like that when they switched. I look at the pollution chart in the diplomacy screen and see many higher polluting German cities. Could it possibly be a game bug and that could really be German pollution that high? Anyhow, I am diligently working towards Ectopia, then polluters of the world beware.

The reason for the leap in Aztec pollution is the use of nuclear weopons.

Whilst Germany accepts it's shortcomings in the environmental sphere it must be remembered that as Socialist Republic the good of the oppressed masses of the World takes precedence over a few trees!

The Aztec government regrets any damage it may have done to the ozone layer. It was necessary for the Aztec people to insure their security. Citizen Edison is working on new ways to clear up this pollution. The Aztec people have shortened their work hours, limiting our production to half of it's potential. Hopefully this will forestall the comming disater. If not, better get those beachfront homes up on stilts
