Turn 39 to Quinns
Our Diplomatic envoy to France has reported back to Athens that contrary to the rumours of terror and brutality, that St. Jon is instead a lover of all of God's creatures. Greek cryptographers are searching for hidden meaning in that statement, but I choose to take it at face value!
St. Jon, as much as he has enjoyed his stay, it is now time for him to return to Greece. Would you be so kind as to give him a "ride home"?
The Welsh have been quite warm in their welcome to our other Diplomat, but we were sorry that Demosthenes was away on an urgent mission, and we could not meet with him this trip.
We now undertake the journey to the land of the Inca to establish an Embassy, with the permission of the great Quinns.

Turn 40 to Madrid.
Noble Xenophon, I am delighted that your Envoy enjoyed his stay in the Holy City of Rennes and regret that I was unable to meet him in person for fear that the sheer glory of my presence might overwhelm him with such joy as to endanger his very life. The Archbishop of Rennes did as you requested and gave the gentleman an express ticket home.
Love unto All.

Turn 40 to Quinns
The people of Naxos express their appreciation to Quinns for moving his army from their city limits. The leader of the Inca is obviously a man of his word.
Our Diplomat has returned to Greece dazed by his high-speed trip! While he is recovering his wits, he has been assigned to explore a patch of still dark lands near our cities. Then, refreshed, he will travel on to Inca lands.
And hello again to the member of the Spanish Diplomatic Corp, as we pass each other in Wales!
Finally, it bears noting that no cities in Greece have seen any signs of the dreaded riot plague lately. Dare we hope that it has run its course?

Turn 41 to Madrid.
France extends the warm hand of friendship to Australia and Wales and sincerely hopes that her Missionary will be granted leave to enter these distant lands to establish formal Diplomatic relations.

Madrid extends a cordial welcome to the return of Demos from his pilgrimage...
Our Diplomat looks forward to visiting the magnificent city of Pentraeth - the Greek diplomat's description was glowing in his praise!

Turn 41 ==> Stavros
Knossos greated my Personal Envoy like a hining beacon in the night. A vast oasis in a hostile land. We thank the Greeks for their hospitality, but my Ambassador has had to make way in earnest for he has many other great nations to visit. We trust that throughfare will not be an issue, but if it is, then please do not hesitate to contact my Knossos Embassy.

Turn 41 to Quinns
The citizens of Knossos lined the streets and threw rose petals from their windows as they sadly watched the Diplomat from Wales ride out of town. We will miss the wit and wisdom of the Welsh in our little hamlet!
Demosthenes, we are happy to grant you permission to travel across Greek lands as you continue your Diplomatic mission. May the world welcome your initiatives.

Turn 42 to St Jon of the French --
It is quite apparent that the leaders of this world are very wise in their understanding that strength and prosperity comes from civil behavior. (I wish the leaders of the real world could convince their constituents of the same. )
Tomas de Torquemada of Spain: My blind phalanx stumbled next to your warrior. Be assured that I intend no further movement westward from that position. I believe I have found our mutual border.
