Actually, the way its setup up now is much more like the way governments actually communicate in real life. The players role play as the leaders of their civ, and can communicate with the leader in anyway they wish. Ofcourse, we dont go around doing diplomacy until our civilizations have met.
Also the rules are made up as we go along, as in a situation when a country breaks an agreement. This is also very much like how it is in reality. The leaders of some countries punish the offending country in varying ways, others choose to ignore it. In some cases if a country is too strong it gets away with breaking agreements. So you see, pre-setting punishments and ground rules actually, takes away some of the realism that we want to achieve.
About joining the game, I'm afraid you're a tad bit late. Unless Keygen has already added you that is. We want this to be a fast game so we had limited the number of players that are allowed to join.
.. But there are a lot of other games about to start why not join one of those. .. again.. sorry about the game being full.
