New diplomatic PBEM anyone?

Hi. I was wondering if you guys wanted to start a nice new Diplomatic, role playing type PBEM?

Here is what I was hoping for.
Gigantic map.
Diety mode.
4-8 players. Rest doesn't matter to me.

Just want a bunch of fun human players to play with.

Anyone is welcome to build a map to their tastes and post its stats if everyone likes it, we'll go with it.

What do you guys think?

I'd be happy to play in another diplom. game. but it will have to be some sort of a "fast start" otherwise its going to be months before we even meet, let alone start diplomacy...

Yes I noticed that.. most games seem to have several settlers and extra gold, PW and tech. That shouldn't be a problem.

If you want Gigantic map, I think we should have a "fast start".
But if you want a standard start, we should use a smaller one.

OK, I'm in.
I will have the Greeks and I'll be "Constantine the Great".
I suggest to start the game with up to 5 players (otherwise will be realy slow), some cities or settlers (better) and some warriors (for exploration) to accelerate the game.
The only problem is that for some weekends I might not be able to play.

Could one of you generate the scenario? I've never done this before, so I'd rather someone else create the scenario than me. I'll probably mess up somehow.

I have so far just played one turn, so I have NO clue.
heheh.. Sure go ahead and set up a scenario, we'll probably go with it unless someone comes up with an objection/something better.

Quicker: I have this if you want it.
Stravos's: I also have this one.
Dutcheese: This is available on Apolyton.
Slamps: It's designed for the Apolyton pack.

Keygen, why not just modify one of these to include the right civs, PW, gold, and tech, and launch the game, since everyone in this game is so inexperienced at scenario building, and you seem to know what you're doing.

Hi Folks,

mixing CtP with RPG sounds very interesting to me. So if possible, I would like to join. But I would HEAVILY recommend a smaller map! What is diplomacy good for, if you can't see anybody for a long period?
On the other hand, maybe we should think about some rules for the RPG. One simple thing is not talking (in Play!) with someone you can't see. Or only talking, when some of the units are close together.
Mabe some rules for agreements, and some penalties for those, who brake this agreements ...
