    Turn 49 to Rick.

    After chatting to Rowick on ICQ it appears unlikely that he will even bother to re-install CTP on his machine let alone take further part in any further PBEM. This leaves the leadership of the Greeks open. Is Mobius willing to take this duty on permanently or should a search be begun to find a long term replacement?

        MOBIUS finds the Greek Acropolis to his liking and bows before Zeus and Apollo at the foot of Mount Olympus to seek guidance in these testing times as the new chosen leader of the Greek state...

        MOBIUS welcomes Creator's 'compliment', surely Creator must realise that this sudden jump in power the Greeks are enjoying is due to our continuing war preparations...

        The Gods of Athens look forward to the day when Assyria realises that war with Greece is futile and sues for peace...
        Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

          TURN 49 --> Jon

          Our kigints and samurai crusaders put one's heard and soul into the great Crusade against Greek barbarian, but fight into forest is very hard, especially if you must to struggle
          with natural forests soliders... [ they unfortunately have deadly, wapon-infernal MUSKETS, In my opinion Mobius must have secret dealings with Lucifer ]

              Turn 50 --> MOBIUS

              Rome hopes that Burchill of the English returns to rule soon, for in his absence, things have turned decidedly more militant.

              The junta in power has sent Samurai to the walls of Rome, and being AI refuse to leave.

              Creator, on the other hand is not the AI, but has again sent a Phalanx onto Roman land. We grow tired of asking that he not trespass without even asking permission. So now we are not asking, but telling you:

              Creator- Remove All Military Units From Our Land At Once!!

              Emperor Rick is not amused!

                    • Creator,

                      This war is bad for both of us, Athens asks for peace - you are far more powerful and are merely acting like a bully at the moment by killing my obsolete units (quite how you knew they were there is another matter...), which paradoxically, helps my production of new and better units...

                      Also this turn I have proved that I continue to strike deep into your territory by taking two lots of slaves!

                      So please Creator, show the World your wisdom by ending this war - otherwise you can guarantee that I do have other tricks up my sleeve and will continue to be a thorn in your side...

                      Greece welcomes further ties with her neighbours the Russians by opening an embassy in the city of Kursk next turn...

                      Greece is also thankful to the Romans for providing a much needed map exchange...

                      Peace to all!

                        Messange to Mobius: I will not accept pace with you, because you don't respect any treatly. In any case I can't stoped Holly Crusade..., just like you can't put out great fire

                          We climb our tallest towers and peer out at the horizon, but still no sight of the fabled Russian ship.

                          But the excitement builds as the day grows closer when our friends will make landfall.

                          But we are saddened by the great Creator's unwillingness to accept a peace proposal from the Greeks.

                          Mobius speaks the truth that war will be no good for either of your peoples.

                          Creator, can you not end this fighting, and show the world that you have wisdom as well as power?

                          Emperor Rick

                            • Creator, I beg you to see reason!

                              If you continue with this folly you will only prove to the rest of the World that I was right in my actions as you continue this unjust war against me.

                              Do you truly wish to alienate the other powers against your cause!?

                                The streets of Moscow are ankle deep in the tears of my people at the death and suffering caused by this dreadful war between our illustrious neighbours. Is there no way that you can find to peacefully resolve your differences?
