  • Murphy's law:
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong at the worst possible moment.

Yes, it appears that my modem that I have used for over 2 years now without any problems, has finally decided to break down.

It guess the AI of my modem has secretely analysed my position in this game, and decided that it should do something to help me .

I am at work now, so the problem will not be fixed for at least another 12 hours.
    (More I guess)

    • Here's hoping you can get the problem fixed.

I can say that based on the power graph, your position is not bad though.

We've all become used to delays though - rare is the PBEM without them
Yes, let's be optimistic until we have reason to be otherwise...No, let's be pessimistic until we are forced to do otherwise...Maybe, let's be balanced until we are convinced to do otherwise. -- DrSpike, Skanky Burns, Shogun Gunner

Hey Hex, do you see any meteors heading toward the Earth? Let me know & I'll just nuke them. .... But you have to give me a few centuries notice, as I am not quite ready.

If you guys are interested in speeding the game up, see my previous post.

          • Hi Phil the Science guy

Do you have your own TV show or something

The best dates for me are either Saturday July 1st or Saturday July 8th. Most likely the 8th though.

I should be alright for the 8th too.

Kris, I take it you got your modem fixed

(even with a turn post this time)

                July 8th would be ok.

We the Americans will have Democracy soon... I hope, unless we elect another Socialist in November!

Democracy hasn't come up in the queue for me, but I will also keep note of the request.

My, Shavlor, it seems that you must have a lot of cities to need Democracy.

The race for Gutenbergs Bible will be a nail-biter. Someone has to lose.

The advice has been taken into consideration, but the Aztec people are robust and healthy now.

But you needed Optics to get Medicine, so the gift was a worthy one.
